Background / History

Lin Yun created Silent’s background himself, deliberately filling it with an unusually broad range of education and professions. The character’s clan artisan and noble background supplied both practical tools and social standing after he entered the world. 9

Before becoming deeply invested in games, Lin Yun was frequently involved in fights and might have ended up in juvenile detention without his parents’ influence. He later redirected that aggression into gaming and became the owner of a board-game shop. 11

As Silent, he joined adventuring parties, established himself as an exceptionally capable blacksmith, and built a reputation for meticulous preparation. Despite this caution, he consistently takes the frontline when necessary. His allies respect him because he protects them with preparation rather than reckless bravado; he enters dangerous fights with high Armor Class, high health, and protective magic already active. 280
