The bullet was fired from a typical sniper rifle and had magic attached to it, but clearly it hadn't been given any particularly special enhancements.
It had little effect when it hit Enkidu.
But just then, Kiritsugu Emiya said without hesitation, "By Command Seal, Mordred, appear beside the Hero King and attack him."
He even used another one of his Command Seals to do it.
Kiritsugu Emiya had once been an enemy of Julius—or, more accurately, of Li Shuwen's Master.
But in a way, their thinking was very much in sync: the Hero King was the greatest threat, so the best outcome was to take him out while they had the chance.
That was why Kiritsugu Emiya reacted so quickly.
And so Mordred, who had been fighting, suddenly appeared beside Gilgamesh, looking a little bewildered.
Her sword was still under Lancelot's control, so... she was still unarmed.
But Mordred reacted quickly—or rather, under the Command Seal's order, she soon responded.
On one hand, she really was rather simple-minded... on the other, she had already taken a strong dislike to the Hero King.
If not for Father King, she would have spoken her mind in most situations. To avoid causing other problems, she had instead gotten into the habit of keeping quiet.
Otherwise, she would have wanted to kill this guy long ago.
