I Am a Templar Knight

At that moment, they heard the sound of a weapon being drawn. The man with the iron slab on his back took it off and gripped it in his hand.

His other hand was a prosthetic. Although he could use a magnet to hold the greatsword, which looked like an iron slab, it still seemed like a struggle.

Now, he watched Lin Yun warily and asked, "Who exactly are you?"

"Me?" Lin Yun spoke in a low voice as he switched his armor to that of a Star Mech. It was a black, skin-tight suit covered in somewhat bulky armor... If he could help it, Lin Yun didn't want to take even one hit from this guy's blade.

As Lin Yun's armor changed, the Enlarge spell wore off, and his abilities to grow extra arms and an extra head were temporarily canceled, too.

So now, Lin Yun looked at least like a human being with a somewhat unusual aesthetic... probably.

Having more or less figured out what his Main Quest was, Lin Yun answered directly, "I'm a Templar Knight who worships the human god of war. I came here to wipe out the corrupted creatures in this place." He revealed part of his backstory.

This time, he'd gotten fairly detailed "intelligence," so when writing his backstory, Lin Yun had even worked in parts of the history specific to this world.

In this world, there was a group known as the Templar Knights. They weren't the Templar Knights from the neighboring game that was about to get a real Assassin's Creed entry. They were people who specialized in dealing with unsavory things—or, as they were more commonly known, Witch Hunters.

Of course, that was what ordinary people called them.

Most of these so-called Witch Hunters wouldn't call themselves Witch Hunters. Lin
