The Sneaky Stalkers charged straight at them instead of fleeing for more than just the Goblin Shaman behind them. They also knew reinforcements were on the way, and that gave them the courage to hold out until then.
Most of the Sneaky Stalkers wore dirty, tattered leather or cloth armor and carried all sorts of mismatched weapons.
But the weapons Lin Yun saw most often were Short Spears made from black wood.
That was probably why they were called the Dark Spear Orcs.
Besides those, some of the Greenskin Goblins farther back carried small bows.
Just before the Greenskins on both sides met, these "small" arrows, visibly coated in poison, flew toward the Blood Axe Clan.
But Lin Yun had prepared something else for the Blood Axe Clan on the front line.
That was...
"WAAAAGH!" They might be the Blood Axe Clan, but nobody said they couldn't carry shields.
Of course, that brought up another problem with Greenskins.
Just like those "young warriors" back then, they looked down on shields. They thought shields weren't manly enough, weren't WAAAGH enough. But then Lin Yun picked up a heavy iron shield made by Dwarves and smashed a Greenskin into a meaty lasagna.
...And so, a strange Greenskin force was born...
These Greenskins were still members of the Blood Axe Clan, but nearly all of them carried a crude, heavy wooden shield painted red with blood.
Of course, "heavy" meant that several planks had been piled together, or that a piece of "breastplate" had been cut from Dwarf armor and reworked into something that could barely pass for a heavy iron shield.
Some painted the Blood Axe emblem on their shields. The cleverer ones even embedded a few teeth around the edges.
Then they used those teeth along the shield's rim to attack.
