After leaving Marsk Laboratory, Bai Fu sped along until she soon found the vehicle she had abandoned earlier.
Since all the players had died, she had no choice but to take one of their vehicles. It wasn't a big deal, though. Once she got back to Tongshan Camp, she could give the players a quest to bring it back.
Bai Fu drove for a whole day. By the time she reached Tongshan Camp, news of Hei Fu's death had spread throughout the player community.

Players who liked Bai Fu worried that Hei Fu's death might have a negative impact on her. They were also afraid Bai Fu might drop dead in some sudden incident, just like Hei Fu. Players who didn't like Bai Fu worried that their favorite NPC might meet the same sudden end.
Sure, if an NPC died, they could go complain to the devs—but that didn't mean they could bring them back to life.
Because of all these worries, when Bai Fu arrived at Tongshan Camp, she found the players in low spirits.
