Chapter 83: King Against King, Boss Bai Fu's Strength
According to the intelligence the players had brought back, Graham's target this time was a Biochemical Factory belonging to the Gene Primordial.
To ensure the mission went smoothly, Graham had brought fifty elite agents trained by the Truth Society. He had also purchased intelligence support from the Dark Web.
Bai Fu would have loved to see the Truth Society and the Gene Primordial cripple each other. That way, she could swoop in and reap the benefits. So she wouldn't get involved in their fight. Instead, she planned to ambush Graham on the route he'd have to take while retreating and give him a huge surprise.
Since Graham had brought only fifty people, Bai Fu didn't bring all the players along. She took only the veterans who had joined the Silent Court in version 1.0, along with ten promising newcomers.
The veterans were level eleven on average. Although most of them were weaker than the Truth Society's elite agents, they had the advantage of numbers and didn't fear death. That was enough to help her keep Graham occupied and carve out room for a one-on-one fight.
As for the newcomers, even the fastest-leveling among them had only reached level three. They couldn't exactly be called a decisive factor in battle; at best, they were no help at all.
Bai Fu brought ten newcomers along to promote the Silent Court.
As the saying went, seeing was believing.
No matter how extravagant the advertising, it was less effective than letting players from other factions experience for themselves how great life was for newcomers in the Silent Court.
See that? While you're huffing and puffing for another faction, helping its big boss pay for a new car, Silent Court players are already following me on
