When the smoke kicked up by the psychic explosion cleared, the players who had been trying to help Bai Fu all stopped in their tracks.
The players who had been blown away by the shock wave could no longer spare a thought for their injuries. They scrambled to their feet, looking utterly bewildered.
It wasn't that they lacked combat sense and had lost focus in the middle of such a tense battle. The only thing to blame was how quickly the situation had changed in the fight between Bai Fu and Graham!
From the moment Bai Fu walked up with the electric knife in hand to the moment Graham was beaten to his knees, barely more than a minute had passed.
Yet in that short time, the battle had turned around twice.
The first time was when Bai Fu's health bar appeared in the livestream. Seeing how absurdly long it was, every player present had thought she would win by an overwhelming margin.
But the actual fight had left them dumbfounded.
Bai Fu was clearly being suppressed by Graham. When she struck him once, he could strike her four times in return. She had her Spiritual Energy Shield to protect her, but once it was broken and went on cooldown, she'd be done for.
A lot of players had wanted to rush in and help. But then Bai Fu turned the tide for the second time with one crisp Spinning Slash, a chilly warning that an explosion was coming, and a pale-blue Energy Storm.
"Can she really do that?"
"Holy crap, what was that move?"
