While observing, Darkshatter discovered that this Black Tide force was completely different from the Black Tide forces he had encountered before.
For one thing, its system of troops consisted entirely of evil entities he had never seen.
That was easy enough to understand.
According to An Xing's explanation, the Black Tide possessed countless troop types that could be generated at will.
Each Black Tide force would construct a troop system capable of effectively countering its opponent based on the circumstances of the battle. Even if it lacked overall combat power, it could still suppress its opponent through its troop composition.
What puzzled him was the battle style of the Player Race and the Black Tide evil entities.
The two sides were still verbally attacking each other during the battle. The sight left him utterly dumbfounded.
Brutality, evil, devouring, death, destruction... The Black Tide in his impression was a life eraser standing above all living beings. Wherever its gaze fell, everything was destroyed.
Before coming to the Monster World, his wars against the Black Tide had left him with a deep sense of powerlessness.
The Black Tide grew stronger with every battle, while the Darkborn Clan warriors under his command died in ever greater numbers.
Yet the evil calamity in his eyes was trading insults with the weak, ant-like Player Race.
It felt like a mighty god of destruction had descended into the mortal world only to hurl vulgar abuse at an ant on the ground. He simply could not understand it.
The tremendous contrast even made the scene before him seem unreal.
While watching the battle, Darkshatter also discovered that this Black Tide force was not very strong—or rather, it was still in the early stages of development.
It was nowhere near the endless Black Tide described by An Xing.
