In his eyes, Ais Te was no different from every other creature he had killed; her wealth, her status, her breathtaking beauty—all of it was no more than drifting clouds to him.
Ais Te's maids let out despairing screams, only to be sent flying far away by a gentle force.
Ais Te turned and faced Kelong Eighteen directly. Holding both hands before her chest, she gently blew out a breath. With a humming sound, a silver ice shield as thin as a cicada's wing formed before her. Kelong Eighteen's sword crashed heavily into the shield, erupting with an earth-shaking boom. Ais Te's body swayed slightly as the ice shield exploded into countless shards, scattering through the air. She blew another breath, and a second ice shield shot forth.
Three ice shields appeared in succession before her, and Kelong Eighteen's strike finally exhausted its force and dissipated.
"Hand it over!" Though his sword had failed, Kelong Eighteen's massive body had already charged before Ais Te. Poor Kelong Eighteen was so huge that compared to him, Ais Te was no bigger than one of his thighs—her waist was even far slimmer than his thigh.
With a grab of his left hand, Kelong Eighteen reached toward Ais Te's chest.
