"Even the founder of the Silver Iris Family cannot act so recklessly in the mortal world!"
A hoarse, grating voice came from among the black-clad figures. Five demigod powerhouses from the Temple of the Void, draped in black robes and expressionless, descended from the sky atop layers of intricate magic sigils. Their powers linked as one, completely sealing the surrounding space. Although Ais Te's magic had already surpassed the conventional meaning of a forbidden spell, it was still powerless to break through a force capable of locking down the void.
Ais Te looked coldly and proudly at the five demigods standing around her. The nine ice dragons behind her still held their heads high, their frigid eyes fixed fiercely upon these extraordinarily powerful ancient beings.
"It was not my intention to violate the Covenant. Someone first broke the Covenant's protection over me!"
Ais Te coughed up a mouthful of blood. Pointing at the large stain of blood across her chest, she said coldly, "Whenever a family produces a demigod, that family's direct heir is protected by the Covenant. I was attacked. I hope to receive a fair and reasonable explanation."
The expressions of the five demigods from the Temple of the Void became exceedingly tangled. What realm one reached, what level one entered, determined what circles one could come into contact with.
Those rough heroes of the streets all believed that Human-ranked warriors were incomparably powerful beings. Yet only after entering the army would they learn that Human-ranked warriors merely received the treatment of ordinary soldiers; Earth-ranked warriors were only mid-level officers, while Heaven-ranked warriors were candidates for mid- and high-level officers. As for truly powerful generals, they might even be great knights at the peak of the Heaven realm, with one foot already stepping into the Saint realm.
