Green Moon Empress's avatar had been taken away, devoured, or slain. But without a doubt, her true body had suffered grave injuries. Thus, the moon elves never came to trouble Lin Qi again, and Lin Qi gained an exceptionally leisurely stretch of time in the Fourth Abyss.
Even the moon-mark brand on the back of his hand had begun to fade. Clearly, the Green Moon Empress's true body had been injured, directly affecting the brand on Lin Qi. With her power weakened, the Green Moon Empress could no longer maintain the integrity of the brand. Osmanthus Tree had already promised Lin Qi that, given a little time, he could completely wear the brand away.
Now at ease, Lin Qi brought Long Yan and the other ancestor-class fiendish ghosts on enthusiastic visits to the many lords of the Fourth Abyss. He swept clean the mountains of junk piled in their warehouses—things these lords could neither eat nor wear—while leaving behind huge quantities of weapons, provisions, armor, and clothing 'freely provided' by His Highness Prince Arthur.
Lin Qi did everything he could to reach a win-win outcome with these lords. Everyone was happy and satisfied with their gains.
Day by day, the area explored by Arthur's massive legions grew larger and larger. His Golden Griffon Knights had even scouted a radius of tens of thousands of miles. Many perilous regions, many mineral veins with enormous reserves, and many highly valuable resources were discovered by these Golden Griffon Knights.
