"This is our homeland. Warriors of the Asura Race, are you willing to burn the battle-blood in your hearts for it?"
The Asura King lowered his head and looked at Shi Lan. "But the bloodline of the Asura Race cannot end with me."
"There's no need for any treasure vault. I can take all of you away."
For Shi Lan, who possessed the Qiong Luo Realm, taking an entire race away was a mere gesture of her hand—provided, of course, that she could leave the Fierce Nether King Realm alive.
"No need. Just take all the children of my race."
The Asura King shook his head, his gaze turning toward the sky beyond the great hall.
"The Fierce Nether King Realm needs people who will fight for it. As long as the Asura bloodline survives, that will be enough."
Shi Lan fell silent. In a sense, the Asura King's decision was foolish. Faced with life or death, he had chosen a path that could only end in death.
But to die fighting for one's homeland was the highest honor. Given the ferocity of the Asura's battle-blood, such a decision was hardly surprising.
"Your Majesty!"
An eight-armed Asura hurried into the great hall, his expression grave.
"Those demons from beyond the domain have begun slaughtering indiscriminately in Cangyan Continent. They're razing cities and villages. Every race in their path has been uprooted, with not a single survivor!"
The moment the words fell, Shi Lan understood what they implied. Since they had already begun slaughtering the beings of this realm, the clash between the supreme beings of the Samsara Hall and those Supreme Artifacts must have ended.
At least several supreme beings from the Samsara Hall had entered the realm. Only one had fallen. It was obvious which side had emerged victorious.
