Shi Lan began cultivating while navigating her engagement to Lu Yueqing, the Shi Clan’s discipline, and two systems with conflicting demands. After reaching the fourth level of the Body Tempering Realm, she completed her first main quest as the Imperial Court summoned martial artists to confront a demonic beast invasion.

• Shi Lan discovered she had transmigrated into the body of Shi Lan, a woman disguised as a man, and learned that Su Lanyue had switched her at birth to secure power in the Shi Clan.
• Two systems bound to Shi Lan in succession, and the Empress Cultivation System set her a deadline to reach the first level of the Body Tempering Realm.
• Shi Lan began martial training with the Vajra Divine Fist, toured Tenglong City, and ordered Shi Feng to beat Xu Yuanbai, ending her lingering feelings for him.

• Shi Lan advanced to the third and then fourth Body Tempering levels by taking her Body Tempering Pill, completing her main quest and receiving two beginner draws and a Cleansing Pill.

Shi Lan fled Tenglong City as the Demon Race invasion spread, then joined the Demon-Suppression Army after reaching locked-down Twin Moon City. She secured a place for Shi Feng and a transferable place aboard the Cloudsky Treasure Ship as the city prepared for battle.

• Shi Lan used the Wash-Dust Pill, escaped Shi Mansion despite Shi Feng following her, and rode west after saying goodbye to Su Lanyue.
• Shi Lan survived a wolf attack and continued west, while Shi Feng secretly protected her and hunted demon beasts to strengthen her.
• Shi Lan and Shi Feng traveled toward the Shengwu Immortal Sect, but a Demon King captured Shi Lan and nearly killed Shi Feng before Samsara helped her defeat the demon and rescue him.
• Shi Lan carried the badly injured Shi Feng to Twin Moon City, where Du Baisheng treated him and she learned the city was concealing the spreading demon threat.
• Shi Lan investigated the city's lockdown and joined Nie Yangze's force after passing its strength test, then learned the recruits would serve in the Demon-Suppression Army.
• Huangfu Yun told Shi Lan that Twin Moon City had an eighty percent chance of falling and explained that a Skycloud Treasure Ship would evacuate talented children and eligible relatives.
• Shi Lan bound herself to the Demon-Suppression Army, secured places aboard the ship for Shi Feng and Jiang Li's family, and accepted spirit crystals from Jiang Li.
• Shi Lan used a spirit crystal and Bone-Strengthening Pills to improve her strength, received armor from Huangfu Yun, and learned the Cloudsky Treasure Ship would arrive the next morning.

Shi Lan joined the Demon Suppression Army and fought through increasingly devastating beast attacks until Twin Moon City fell and she awakened with Xiantian True Qi. As Shi Lan mourned the dead and began cultivating again, Shi Feng arrived at Immortal Martial City and was taken away by the powerful Luo Xiuhan.

• Shi Lan boarded the Cloudsoaring Treasure Ship’s expedition, then joined Huangfu Yun’s new recruits and proved herself in contests and battles against demon beasts.
• Huangfu Yun trained the recruits through repeated hunts, while Shi Lan advanced her cultivation and learned that no reinforcements would come to Twin Moon City.
• Shi Lan and the defenders repelled successive beast tides at the city walls, but the attacks grew until Huangfu Yun led the Demon Suppression Army into a desperate battle beyond the city.
• Huangfu Yun used the Demon-Slaying Platform to bind and behead a massive flood dragon, but he died as the army was overwhelmed and Shi Lan was knocked unconscious by a giant tiger.
• Shi Lan’s system fused her with Xiantian Spirit Blood while Twin Moon City fell, and she woke nearly half a month later with Xiantian True Qi.
• Shi Lan recovered her comrades’ tokens and Huangfu Yun’s body, buried them with the Demon-Slaying Platform, and found the White Crane Skirt and new cultivation methods.
• At Immortal Martial City, Shi Feng defended Tang Yan and their child from a Shengwu Immortal Sect disciple, then received competing offers from Elder Han and Luo Xiuhan.
• Luo Xiuhan rejected Elder Han’s offer, took Shi Feng through a spatial rift, and left Han Zichuan suspecting that he had slain a Heavenly Demon.

Shi Lan led the Demon-Suppressing Army across Chengtian Domain, gathering spirit crystals, allies, and growing renown while advancing her cultivation. The stretch ended with You Hong’s ambush at Rockhold and Shi Lan fighting back after losing her bow.

• Shi Lan reunited with Shi Tianlu in Jiuxiao City, accepted Luo Xiuhan as her master, and set out to heal her injuries and search for Shi Lan.
• Shi Lan met Wu Ya, then discovered rival forces fighting over a spirit crystal mine and killed their leaders before leading Wang Ning’s soldiers inside to collect crystals and spirit marrow.
• After escaping pursuit, Shi Lan defeated bandits and brought the Demon-Suppression Army to Purple Flame City, where she rejected Zhao Jinheng’s advances and continued studying the region’s history and factions.
• Shi Lan executed the bandit chieftain, completed her reputation mission, drew the Divine Cloud Bow and Heavenly Spirit Talisman, and advanced her cultivation while traveling with Wang Ning’s group.
• Shi Lan joined Wu Lingkong’s battalion during a blizzard, helped gather rare spiritual materials, and used the Divine Cloud Bow to drive off Snowstorm Kites before the group headed toward the Shengwu Immortal Sect.
• At Rockhold City, Xu Sheng spied on Shi Lan’s camp and reported its spirit crystals and spiritual material to You Hong, who gathered allies to ambush the group.
• You Hong’s ambushers tripped the dragon horses and attacked, but Shi Lan killed six Xiantian Realm fighters with her bow before You Hong knocked it away and she killed the burly man with a punch.
