He returned to Spirit City and received a dangerous mission to retrieve a Sha Hua Mandala from Mysterious Canyon, with access to the Land of Deadly Poisons promised if the team survived.

• Hu Liena entered the Hell Slaughter Arena while Wu Qi warned her about Bloody Mary, and Tang San reached Level Fifty before Tang Xiao took him to awaken his bloodline.
• Tang San awakened the Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul and began training in the Haotian Nine Absolutes, while Wu Qi won his hundredth arena match and chose to brave Hell Road.
• Wu Qi defeated the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent, completed Hell Road, and awakened Divine Slaughter's Domain as Hu Liena fought her way through the Fallen Ones.
• Wu Qi used the name Gu Changfeng to investigate Northward View City, confronted its exploitative families, and helped Li Wenzhong and Li Jinglong reshape the city’s markets.
• Wu Qi reunited with Dugu Bo and arranged for Tang San’s revelations about Prince Xuexing to bring the prince into conflict with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
• Dugu Bo negotiated an end to the clan’s grievance by offering information about dragon-type Soul Beasts, and Wu Qi left Heaven Dou City for Spirit City.

Wu Qi led Chen Ping and Qiangu Changkong through the Lost Land, where they explored a buried city, fought a Viper Soul Master, and reached the oasis before Hunter vanished with Chen Nan. After returning to Spirit Hall, Wu Qi received a mission to investigate the Land of Deadly Poisons and traveled to Heaven Dou City, where Xue Qinghe presented evidence concerning the Wu Family.

• Wu Qi led Chen Ping and Qiangu Changkong into the Lost Land, where they joined Chen Nan’s Exile squad and followed rumors of treasure to a city buried beneath the sand.
• Wu Qi’s group explored the underground ruins, uncovered murals of the city’s destruction, and escaped when a sandstorm swallowed the exposed ruins.
• Wu Qi and his companions fought the Viper Soul Master and Sand Emperor Viper, with Hunter killing both using powerful flame attacks and a dark purple bolt of lightning.
• Wu Qi’s group reached the true oasis and found the Sha Hua Mandala, but Chen Nan disappeared after Hunter appeared, and the Water-Condensing Xuanwu revealed that Hunter had carried her away.
• Wu Qi, Qiangu Changkong, and Chen Ping escaped the Lost Land, and Falling Devil Douluo explained the Royal Capital’s history and the oasis’s connection to the Water-Condensing Xuanwu.
• Qian Daoliu assigned Wu Qi to lead a team into the Land of Deadly Poisons, while Wu Qi helped Qiangu Changkong and Chen Ping recover from their ordeal at the Spirit Hall Academy.
• Wu Qi traveled with Qian Jun and Falling Devil Douluo to Heaven Dou City to investigate the Wu Family’s suspected ties to the Xīnshān Sect and met Xue Qinghe, who showed him evidence he had gathered.

Wu Qi exposed the Xīnshān Sect’s crimes, cleared the Wu Family, and led his companions into the Land of Deadly Poisons, where he gained the God of Destruction’s inheritance. He completed the first exam and, after learning the Qing Luan Divine Beast’s past, received her sacrifice as blue armor.

• Wu Qi investigated the Xīnshān Sect with Salas’s help, found He Niannian, and learned the sect planned to bury the miners in their mine.
• Wu Qi and Qiangu Changkong rescued the miners with help from the trainees, then exposed the Xīnshān Sect’s crimes and the steward’s betrayal of Wu Qinan.
• Wu Qi led Qiangu Changkong and ten trainees into the Land of Deadly Poisons, where Dead Guy’s letter guided them through its dangerous layers.
• After Hunter appeared and explained the God of Destruction’s inheritance, Wu Qi accepted it, while Qiangu Changkong and Chen Ping received trials of their own.
• Wu Qi, Qiangu Changkong, and Chen Ping overcame the first exam by evading the Golden Pestle statues and distracting the beasts, earning increased Soul Ring ages and Divine Power Affinity.
• Wu Qi entered the Azure Luan Divine Beast’s memories and challenged her assumptions about people as he witnessed the city’s prosperity, collapse, and citizens’ efforts to save one another.
• The Qing Luan Divine Beast reconsidered her attempts to intervene, recalled her father’s lesson with help from the God of Kindness, and peacefully dissipated.
• After Qiangu Changkong and Chen Ping continued absorbing Divine Feathers, the Qing Luan Divine Beast’s corpse became energy and formed blue armor around Wu Qi.

Wu Qi completed his divine trials, returned to a continent on the brink of war, and began building alliances while Tang San and the others faced Spirit Hall’s growing power. The arc ended with Wu Qi reaching Level Eighty and preparing to hunt the Hundred-Thousand-Year Golden Crown Mountain Eagle.

• The Qing Luan Divine Beast sacrificed itself to grant Wu Qi Divine Armor and a Cyan-Gold natal Soul Ring, after which Wu Qi, Qiangu Changkong, and Chen Ping began their third exam against Chen Nan.
• The trio defeated Chen Nan and returned to Spirit City, where they learned the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan had been destroyed and Wu Qi received his fourth exam.
• Wu Qi accepted Qian Daoliu’s advice to cultivate before taking power, while Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing investigated the clan’s destruction and Tang San helped Yu Tianheng survive.
• Tang San learned that Spirit Hall had slaughtered the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, but Tang Xiao failed to persuade Ning Fengzhi to ally with the Clear Sky Sect.
• Wu Qi, Qiangu Changkong, and Chen Ping killed Mèngyě Guīluó, then reached Heaven Dou City as the Palace Coup approached.
• Wu Qi and Tang San separately prepared for the political crisis, while the Shrek Seven Devils reunited and Wu Qi distributed the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent's Inner Core and Azure Luan Divine Feathers.
• Wu Qi proposed a new sect led by Dugu Bo and promised the three elemental families Soul Bones, while Tang San prepared to treat Xue Ye and learned Spirit Hall’s forces were heading toward the Star Dou Great Forest.
