Hades glanced at Liu Zhi, then at the White Sheep's Infinity Gauntlet. A moment later, he seemed to realize something.
"How could something like this have intruded here? It clearly came from a different world."
Hades shook his head, but still reached out and took the White Sheep's Infinity Gauntlet. Once he had it, he looked up and asked Liu Zhi,
"I can help you with this, but why should I?"
Liu Zhi understood Hades's question perfectly well.
He was right. Why should he help Liu Zhi?
Liu Zhi had merely made an offering. He wasn't one of Hades's followers, and even if he were, that didn't necessarily mean Hades would help him.
Liu Zhi had prepared for this question. At the very least, he had thought it over before coming. He hadn't shown up completely unprepared, with no answers.
When Hades asked, Liu Zhi turned his hand over and took out an item.
"What do you think of this?"
Hades stared at the item in Liu Zhi's hand and paused. "Interesting. Very interesting. This will do."
The item Liu Zhi had taken out was the Soul Gem he had just obtained through Soul Extraction.
The Soul Gem proved some of Liu Zhi's theories. As for souls, he had far too many to bother saving this particular one.
But this new method of processing souls was extremely useful to Hades. He looked at the now-orange object, then at Liu Zhi.
"This was converted by your gauntlet, wasn't it? You brought it to me to modify. Weren't you afraid I'd discover the secret of how you process souls?"
"You can figure it out just by looking. Even if I hadn't brought it to you, you could have made one yourself. Besides, I'm sure you had an agreement when you played this
