Background / History
Liu Zhi began as an ordinary Blue Star person abruptly placed in the body of Sandru, a necromancer aboard a pirate ship. With only his memories and no practical combat knowledge, he received a status panel after taking hold of a scimitar. He killed an attacking pirate in self-defense, gained experience, and discovered an ability to perceive information from corpses. 2
His early survival depended on rapidly learning from others. He acquired Sailor’s Basic Swordsmanship, learned sailing directly from a ship captain, and adapted his tactics during battles with merfolk and Fishmen. 2 6 8 13 His status initially reflected multiple overlapping identities: Liu Zhi as a cross-dimensional player and Sandru as a game character and necromancer. 6 42
In Golden City, Liu Zhi adopted a strict routine of sword practice, archaeology, gathering, herb collection, Underworld exploration, and nightly study. This period developed both his practical skills and his knowledge of magic, Undead, languages, survival, poison, botany, and ancient arcana. 42 87
He gradually shifted from individual survival to territorial leadership. Liu Zhi developed an Underworld, directed Skeleton Soldiers and other subordinates, delegated responsibilities to promising followers, and expanded through buildings, resource sites, Heroes, troop systems, and later entire legions. 155 303 305 867 948
Liu Zhi’s Druid path emerged from his affinity for natural power, wind, lightning, and the Feathered Serpent God’s Divinity. The two sides of his strength—Druid and Necromancer—initially conflicted, prompting him to seek a balanced path rather than rely on either life or death alone. 540 596 600 828
After establishing the Id Plane, Liu Zhi spent fifteen years strengthening its ecosystem and military. He came to regard the Underworld Ecosystem as the inheritance of the Id Family and formed the Light of the Arena, Ghost Fleet, and Deathbone Legion. 948 950
At Mythic Grade, Liu Zhi rejected the Feathered Serpent God’s original path. He remade his body with Death and Harvest Divinity, discarded Sunlight and Heavy Rain Divinity, and created the Disaster Balance profession. 1235 1236 He later recognized that personal control could not sustain a growing plane alone, leading him to recruit more Heroes, build more legions, and delegate authority to subordinates and players. 1460
Appearance
Liu Zhi’s appearance changes with his bodies, equipment, and advancement, but his later form is associated with Undead power, lightning elementalization, and symbols of rulership.
- His true spiritual form is an ordinary-looking young man from Blue Star with snake-like pupils and a Feathered Serpent behind him. 540
- After fifteen years of development, he wears a black spider-silk robe decorated with green leaves and a small gem-inlaid crown. 950
- His bones have elementalized into black lightning currents, occasionally causing sparks to jump between his fingers. 950
- His Divinity body resembles his original body but appears healthier, with rosier skin. 1236
Personality
Liu Zhi is observant, pragmatic, and highly adaptive. His earliest actions show a willingness to learn from any available source, whether a sailor’s advice, a skill book, a corpse, a battlefield, or an enemy’s equipment. 2 8 42 620
He favors preparation over direct confrontation. Against Fishman elites, he combined quicklime, Strong Wind, and flammable gel to incapacitate opponents and prevent the seer’s escape. 13 He also routinely studies maps, records needs in a notebook, scouts resources, and adjusts plans when circumstances change. 16 155 305 600
As a commander, Liu Zhi is protective of valuable subordinates and willing to invest in their advancement. He gives Rust Bone opportunities to become a Hero, worries about Red Gloves’ safety, and entrusts major responsibilities to Sandru, Amanet, Videnina, and other followers. 305 460 538 1234
His leadership is also increasingly ruthless. He sees troops as military resources, plans cannon-fodder legions when necessary, and exiles subordinates who threaten the stability of his territory. 1409 1460 He ultimately prioritizes his own path and growth over a game world’s wider fate. 932
