Watching the golden liquid flow out of the Sphinx's head, every Big Boss in the star region stopped what they were doing and looked over.
They all sensed that an expert had taken that step here, breaking through to level 15.
Now they all wanted to see what path this level-15 expert had followed.
As Liu Zhi and the others gathered around the spot where the Sphinx's head had been, they heard a strange tune. Then a red sun rose from the place where the Sphinx had stood.
"Sun Divinity," a divine player asked, sounding puzzled.
Liu Zhi said nothing, but he understood that Amanet had at least stayed on the right path.
Then Liu Zhi glanced at the divine player beside him. The man seemed very casual, his eyes closed as if he were asleep.
Yet he could see everything around him. When he noticed Liu Zhi looking his way, he smiled at him.
Liu Zhi was about to ask where this divine player had come from. After all, the man seemed to bear him no ill will. But then the area below, where the Sphinx's head had been, began to change again.
Liu Zhi saw countless beasts stampeding through the woods, with a huntress chasing them from behind, spear in hand.
"Hunting Divinity."
The divine player continued, "An interesting combination. It looks like this was a proper path in ancient times. Is she one of your subordinates?"
"Yes." When the divine player asked him, Liu Zhi nodded.
The man glanced at Liu Zhi again. "You're not bad, either. You're close to breaking through, but your path is harder than hers."
"Anyone who's made it this far has a hard road to Mythic."
