The palace wasn't taking shape particularly quickly, and no one seemed to notice. The gods were happily drinking on the mountain, and the main gods were used to such things. After confirming who owned the spot where Liu Zhi's palace was appearing, they paid it no further attention.

Liu Zhi, however, noticed two things when the palace began to take shape.

The first was that a fork had started to form automatically in the path up the mountain. It led straight to the palace that had just appeared.

Liu Zhi could tell that once he reached the palace at the summit and accepted a cup of wine from Zeus, King of the Gods, he would need to follow this path into the palace and activate it.

The second thing he noticed was that three other palaces were taking shape on Mount Olympus besides his own.

Could people climb the mountain from other places, too?

And if so, would climbing Mount Olympus from different games lead to different results?

Liu Zhi thought about it. Perhaps the outcome depended on the time, whether the first and previous generations of King of the Gods were suppressed beneath the mountain, and what the climber brought with them.

He shook his head. He had no time to worry about matters that only the King of the Gods or the main gods needed to consider. He hadn't fully climbed Mount Olympus yet; he still had a ways to go.

Even so, a palace belonging to Liu Zhi had already begun to take shape on Mount Olympus.
