The White Bone Cart was a form of rail transport unique to Kram City. It looked much like Liu Zhi's Skeleton Transport Cart, with skeletons fused into the vehicles.
Compared with Liu Zhi's Skeleton Transport Cart, though, the White Bone Cart looked far more impressive. It was also fully enclosed and ran along tracks, allowing it to reach very high speeds.
As soon as Liu Zhi stepped inside, he felt the White Bone Cart start to accelerate. In the blink of an eye, it had exceeded the speed of sound.
Liu Zhi found it a little strange. Shouldn't public transportation be the sort of thing where lots of people got on and off, slowing it down and making it impossible to reach high speeds?

Just then, the handrail beside one of the White Bone Cart's seats suddenly turned into a skull's face.
"White Bone Carts run on fixed routes between designated areas. This one is headed to East 21-36-70, and there's one every five minutes. If you'd walked a little slower, you might have had to wait five minutes for the next one.
"The carts don't stop along the way. Five minutes is just enough time for this one to travel from the station it left to the station at East 21-36-70, so the schedule works out to one round trip every five minutes."
After hearing the explanation, Liu Zhi understood. He also realized just how much investment it must have taken to make this possible.
