When Bruce's side took action, Lasha and the others were already moving, too.
When they first arrived, they had expected to be attacked by a wave of enemies right away. As they emerged from the teleportation, Lasha, Ling, and Beka all cautiously watched their surroundings.
But once they came through, no enemies appeared.
Lasha was quite surprised by this, but he didn't let his guard down just because the enemy had been careless.
Once he confirmed that the enemy couldn't interfere with them for the moment, Lasha made a decision at once.
He issued a direct order.
"Have all the Sun Boats jump into the Underworld."
Jumping into the Underworld was a function built into the Sun Boats themselves.
Most of the crews aboard the Sun Boats were rookies, so the transition took a little longer, but it didn't stop them from making the jump.
The Mythic-grade ships went first, followed by the Legendary-grade ones, and finally the Transcendent and ordinary Sun Boats made the jump as well.
Bruce had only just finished assigning personnel and was preparing to bring out things like his own star-destroying cannons when he realized that the Sun Boat fleet, which should have been in the sky, had vanished.
The sight startled him.
Bruce didn't think the Sun Boats had come just to show off and then leave. They had appeared and disappeared so suddenly; they must have another objective.
As the administrator of this plane, he was naturally anxious about the interests he had here. The circumstances of the plane flashed through his mind as he worried that his opponents might have some other goal.
But he had no way to locate the Sun Boats.
