The scene shifted instantly, leaving Liu Zhi momentarily disoriented. When he regained his senses, he found himself back atop the pyramid, but the surroundings were now desolate and ruined. The sun had only just risen halfway into the sky, allowing him to clearly see everything on the summit.

Before Liu Zhi lay a backpack, sliced in two. Not far away, a skeleton, now reduced to mere bones, stood guard.
