As the Bone-Eating Giant Lizard led the way, Liu Zhi began searching the nearby area again.

The Zerg's underground passages actually had a discernible layout. Before long, Liu Zhi found several camps that looked like they had been used to house troops. However, the entire camp was empty now. It was clear that all the troops once stationed there had been sent out.

There were also facilities for storing eggs, gene rooms for modifying their genes, and hatching pools for incubating the different species.

As Liu Zhi swept through the Zerg base, he destroyed every place he passed.

However, he still hadn't found the core of the Zerg base. Every room seemed useful, but Liu Zhi knew none of them was central to the base's operations.

Just as Liu Zhi was starting to feel vexed, the Bone-Eating Giant Lizard managed to open the passage that had been sealed off with flesh.

When Liu Zhi heard the news, he hurried over.

Before he could even enter the newly excavated room, he felt a wave of toxicity wash over him.

As an extraordinary expert in poisons, Liu Zhi recognized at a glance that the room was filled with poisonous gas. It didn't seem to affect them much, though. At most, it just smelled unpleasant.

But there was no way Liu Zhi believed the gas had been released here by accident. After a moment's thought, he used Strong Wind to draw out some of the toxins.

Once he had blown the poisonous gas out of the room, Liu Zhi followed the passage inside.

The moment he entered, he saw the room's entire disordered state.

In the middle of the space lay a gigantic corpse, much like a Meat Mountain.
