Liu Zhi ignored him and continued advancing with his subordinates. Two battle flags had already appeared in his hands. If the other side had any ideas, he could summon his Undead Army at a moment's notice.
Fortunately, the commander inside was perceptive enough to know that they absolutely couldn't lose their heads at a time like this. If they did, the two sides might start fighting right then and there.
So the commander calmly stepped out and held out both hands to show that he wasn't carrying any weapons.
Only after doing all that did the commander approach Liu Zhi.
"You're Mr. Sandru, right? We came on short notice, but this matter is truly urgent. It concerns the safety of these waters, and we hope you'll come with us to a meeting. Lieutenant Xu Yate has some things to explain."
Lieutenant Xu Yate? Liu Zhi thought about it before realizing that this must be the bunker's control officer.
When he first boarded the ship, he seemed to remember the man introducing himself as a member of the Xu Yate family. He'd forgotten the man's name, though.
But judging by the fighter commander's behavior, that lieutenant seemed to be doing pretty well for himself lately.
As Liu Zhi thought this over, he said, "Sure. But if you want me to attend a meeting, you could've just sent a car. What's this supposed to mean?"
Liu Zhi pointed at their fighter and smiled faintly.
The fighter commander gave an awkward smile too. He couldn't exactly say that Lieutenant Xu Yate was afraid Liu Zhi wouldn't come, so he wanted to put a little pressure on him.
Especially with the giant battleship still flying overhead, these
