Liu Zhi had no time to deal with what was happening in the Main Power Compartment. He raced toward the bridge.

Back when they were designing the bridge that controlled the entire ark, Liu Zhi and the Oracle Script had argued for ages.

The Oracle Script hadn't had many demands about the bridge's style. He'd only reminded Liu Zhi to go with a natural look. After all, the ark was meant to form a self-contained space, and a natural ecosystem with its own cycle would be better.

But Liu Zhi didn't want that style. He was good at creating both Underworld Ecosystems and natural ecosystems, so he simply combined the two styles here.

Small flower beds filled the entire bridge, planted with herbs. They looked just like a druid's traveling garden.

At the center of the bridge, however, stood a wooden throne. Liu Zhi had learned its style from Daniel. The throne was covered in skull carvings, but unlike Daniel's throne, the skulls' eye sockets were filled with green shoots.

Liu Zhi had put a great deal of effort into the throne. He'd dug the heartwood out of the great tree that had grown from the dragon bones, then used Summoning to enhance its aura of death before painstakingly shaping it.

The throne was the part of the ark most closely connected to the vessel. Sitting on it allowed him to control the entire ark.

Liu Zhi rushed onto the bridge and sat on the throne without a second thought.

The instant he sat down, the Oracle Script's voice rang out.

"That's it. Carve in the names of the builder and the first captain. Then the ship will be complete, and you can bless it with divinity."
