Void jump was a basic function of the modified three-masted gaff-rigged ship. Back when Liu Zhi and Edmond were together, they had found all sorts of ways to use it.

That was why Liu Zhi was fairly familiar with void jumps. He easily pinpointed a safe location.

It was where Liu Zhi had fought the Fishmen before. He had even unleashed a wave of Death Ripple and cast Summoning there.

He had left a deep impression on that place, so pinpointing it had been easy.

"The targeting for a void jump still isn't as good as the Starry Sky Beacon. It'd be great if I could use the two together."

Muttering to himself, Liu Zhi initiated the void jump.

But compared to the modified three-masted gaff-rigged ship, which was only a few dozen meters long, a Giant Ship more than a thousand meters long wasn't so easy to jump.

The location was set, but there was still the energy cost to consider, as well as the method of making the jump. Liu Zhi had to adjust all of it himself.

This void jump couldn't happen in an instant like it did with the modified three-masted beast ship. It needed at least three to five minutes to prepare.

Liu Zhi understood that, of course. But the Zerg's hive was behind him, and the Fishmen were approaching from the front. Without the void jump, he'd be caught between two enemies.

Liu Zhi had no intention of letting them surround him here.

So after initiating the void jump, he reinforced the shield again. It was now thicker than ever. If he hadn't needed to stay at the controls of the Yadaliate to guide the jump, he would have gone to the Magic Array and wrapped the ship in a Thunderwing Shield.
