Three Spider Units

The next two unit types were the same. Liu Zhi had tightly constrained the unit designs, and the second type was a ranged unit.

Liu Zhi had the Spinning Fate Spider Woman use a sample of a giant spider and add some genes from the Plasma Bugs, turning it into a giant cannon platform that could spew Plasma Cannon fire.

Aside from producing, storing, and firing the Plasma Liquid needed for its Plasma Cannon, this spider only needed to move normally. It didn't need any other defensive abilities. It had just one purpose: spray all the Plasma Liquid inside it at the target in a short time and make every shot count.

As for whether it waited for more Plasma Liquid to be produced after firing, or was simply killed, that was none of their concern.

This was an extremely specialized ranged unit. They had no close-combat ability at all. After firing all their Plasma Cannon shots, all they could do was wait where they were. They had no other use.

The last type was a defensive unit. Liu Zhi wanted them to be strong enough to carry plenty of armor, and they would also be able to spew webs over a wide area to pin down enemies.

They also had to be able to hold a Boss back.

After explaining the requirements for all three unit types, Liu Zhi turned and began working on the remaining Star Spirits, leaving the Spinning Fate Spider Woman alone to figure things out.

The Spinning Fate Spider Woman did have ideas about this, but Liu Zhi's requirements went against her nature.

The Spinning Fate Spider Woman really wanted to cram everything into a single spider.
