Liu Zhi had no idea that the players had already begun plotting against him. For now, most of his attention was focused on the Floating Island drawing ever closer.

Only after he got nearer did Liu Zhi realize that not only was this plane shattered, but the game itself was broken too. The entire Floating Island was a chaotic jumble of styles, with far too many details that seemed unreasonable.

The Floating Island they were heading toward was simply the nearest one to Liu Zhi, not one they had specially chosen because it seemed more reasonable.

This Floating Island was just like that. Before getting close, Liu Zhi had thought it would be empty, but he had never imagined that there was more to this seemingly barren island than met the eye.

Once they drew closer, Liu Zhi discovered that the Floating Island was actually a city that had been destroyed after being covered in towering buildings. The entire island was one enormous urban sprawl.

Now, however, all that remained in the city were rusted reinforcement bars and chunks of concrete.

Mechanical figures that looked like skeletons were patrolling the city.

These machines were quite strange. They looked like they belonged to the mechanical or technological side, but their appearance was bizarrely twisted.

The skeletal machines were black all over, with iron plates welded onto their bodies. Between their bones flowed a green liquid that looked like lava.

The weapons in their hands were heavy Square Shields that could cover their entire bodies. The shields looked like door panels forged from steel, with a viewing slit at eye level.

They also carried Chainswords in their right hands. They were basically miniature chainsaws, and the machines carried them with ease as they walked.
