I Know What You're Afraid Of

As soon as Liu Zhi finished speaking, the ground began to shake. A gigantic monster that looked like a ball of flesh crawled up from beneath the earth.

The monster had countless mouths, and as it emerged, it devoured everything around it.

As Liu Zhi attacked, the creature seemed to sense something. It opened its mouth and bit at the surrounding space several times, then tore a hole in the void and fled through it.

Through the opening the creature had bitten into the void, Liu Zhi saw countless scenes.

Liu Zhi immediately pinpointed where Videnina was trapped.

He ignored the tree that had just gained intelligence. Before the passage opened by the creature could disappear, Liu Zhi swiftly rushed inside.

The tree sensed what was happening and sent countless vines surging toward the passage. But it was too slow. By the time the vines reached the opening in the void, the passage had closed.

The vines plunged into the passage and were immediately severed. Not one of them made it back.

The furious tree could only keep waving its vines where it stood, to no avail. Its best chance had already passed. The space formed from the school had lost its vitality, and the tree could no longer absorb even a trace of life.
