The Road to the Charge

Liu Zhi was quite unhappy about being forced to play the healer. He was a proper Necromancer, a master swordsman, and even knew magic like Lightning. He was practically Gandalf. What on earth had made them think he looked like a healer?

Liu Zhi, still dissatisfied, laid down a long list of conditions. For instance, after they killed the enemy, he would get first pick of the spoils. They would also have to help him deliver that player's corpse to a specific location, among other things.

Only then did he pilot the Yadaliate toward the Twisted Core of this plane.

As they headed for the Twisted Core, Liu Zhi had a nagging feeling that he had forgotten something.

But when he thought about it, he couldn't think of anything. His Yadaliate was here, as were Videnina and the Spinning Fate Spider Woman. Amanet was right beside him, too. The rest were just cannon fodder. That was all.

Liu Zhi shook his head and activated the Yadaliate's Void Jump ability.

The next instant, another massive wave of shadow creatures surged toward them.

But compared to last time, these creatures were more twisted and rigid. They seemed to be under some kind of influence, moving without any clear purpose.
