"MI6?"
The worker's eyes shifted as he prepared to speak. Liu Zhi moved his hand forward, and the tip of his sword pierced the worker's throat. A drop of blood began to trickle down.
"Think it over before you answer. I'm in no hurry."
A trace of resolve flashed through the worker's eyes.
Just as he was about to bite down on something hidden between his teeth, Liu Zhi said, "Right, just like that. I'll have an easier time questioning you after you're dead."
At those words, the worker lost his nerve to kill himself. He took a step back and said in a trembling voice, "Don't kill me. I'm just a low-level associate. This has nothing to do with us."
This?
Liu Zhi was taken aback. Then he looked toward the workers closing in around them.
"Did something happen to the Death Star Class Warship?"
The worker hadn't expected Liu Zhi to figure it out right away. He hurriedly nodded. "We didn't do it on purpose. It's just that someone took an interest in that ship, and some of the things inside have already been taken away. So, so..."
The worker fumbled for a long time without managing to explain why.
But Liu Zhi already understood what was going on. He gave a cold snort. "Was MI6 behind it? Do they make a living by reselling this stuff too?"
"No, no, actually..."
The worker stammered. Liu Zhi simply thrust his sword through his head.
Then Liu Zhi extracted the worker's soul and examined it himself.
Only after looking through it did Liu Zhi understand what kind of situation he'd run into.
This was entirely an undeserved calamity.
None of this had anything to do with MI6. It was all trouble accidentally brought on by this intelligence organization's low-level associate.
