Liu Zhi saw it, and Videnina naturally saw it too. As Liu Zhi's personal guard, she knew more than he did, and quickly reached a conclusion.
At least two small boats and sixty people had been stationed here originally, but they had hurriedly left after receiving some kind of signal.
In their haste, they had left all these arrangements behind.
That suggested they had planned to ambush Liu Zhi on the spur of the moment.
They should know by now that Liu Zhi hadn't disembarked at the new location. So what would they do? Would they still come here?
Videnina thought it over carefully and realized that was certainly possible.
After all, they hadn't taken back the hooked nets here. Maybe they were still holding out some hope.
With that in mind, Videnina pointed toward the nets.
Liu Zhi nodded in understanding, took out a Teleportation Array, and began summoning troops from the Nether Palace.
Once again, Liu Zhi deployed undead with spider troops as his main force. They were the easiest undead to create and were quite useful.
This time, he brought out more than just Spider Cannons. There were also Spider Infantry and Spider Shield Guards.
Since these spider troops had been trained in the Nether Palace, they had naturally been affected by the oil painting, and all of them had gained one level.
Level 2 spider troops didn't look much different from their level 1 counterparts, but their attack and defense had both improved.
After deploying them, Liu Zhi didn't leave right away. Instead, he set up an ambush here, aiming the Spider Cannons at the places where enemies were likely to appear.
Once everything was in place, Liu Zhi released the Sky Eye and sent it toward the spot where they had originally planned to disembark.
