"Captain! A Marine warship has been spotted off the starboard bow!"
Three-Hair Captain was carefully grooming the three hairs he had left on his head. Startled by his subordinate barging in, he gave a hard tug.
"Pfft."
Two Hairs watched helplessly as his precious strand drifted away before his eyes. He sprang up like a pressure cooker sprung a leak, spittle flying as he roared at his subordinate.
"You damn fool!!!"
"So what if it's the Marines? What, you think you're still a pirate?!"
"Sorry, Captain..." the rash subordinate said timidly. "I think I've got a disease that makes my knees shake whenever I see a Marine flag."
"And, Captain, even though we're not pirates anymore, isn't this human-trafficking business still a crime?"
Two Hairs looked at his subordinate's thick, lustrous hair and cowardly manner, and his anger flared.
"Come with me!" The two hairs on Two Hairs' head stood straight up, displaying his proud bearing. "Open your damn eyes and watch carefully, fool!"
The slave ship sped up until it was sailing alongside the Marines.
"Marine, sir!"
Two Hairs cupped his hands around his mouth and called out to the Marines on the warship.
When he saw one of them look his way, a fawning smile immediately spread across Two Hairs' face.
"Thank you for your hard work on patrol, Marine, sir!"
"Here, try some of my hometown's finest wine!"
A bottle of wine was tossed from the slave ship, and a Marine on the warship caught it neatly.
As the two ships were headed for different ports, they slowly drifted apart.
"Until next time, Marine, sir!"
Two Hairs stood on deck, waving enthusiastically until the Marine warship vanished from sight.
Two Hairs' expression suddenly darkened. He turned and spat a thick glob of phlegm.
