Nuclear Release Blood Succession: Harsh and Perilous, the Ruthless One Cultivates in a Forbidden Zone
Haotian sat cross-legged on the bed, quietly sensing the surging nuclear power within his body.
This power coursed through his meridians like raging waves—immensely strong, yet each cycle clearly drained a great deal of his energy and stamina.
His brows were tightly knit, a hint of gravity in his eyes.
His thoughts drifted involuntarily to Ghidorah's mysterious atomic furnace organ.
In his memory, that was the source of Ghidorah's power, a mighty wellspring capable of generating nuclear energy endlessly.
He knew he didn't possess such an organ, yet he had obtained the Nuclear Release Kekkei Genkai solely because of the Ghidorah within him.
It was Ghidorah, during that process of adaptation, who acted like a stern yet dutiful mentor, guiding him through the hellish adjustment phase.
Thinking of this, he felt a surge of gratitude in his heart—grateful for his luck, and grateful for Ghidorah's existence.
He closed his eyes slightly, trying to perceive the mysteries of this power on a deeper level.
The surrounding air seemed affected by the nuclear energy, growing somewhat oppressive.
He could hear his own somewhat heavy breathing; each inhale and exhale felt like a subtle dialogue with this force.
The power pulsed inside him, and he could vaguely "see" a faint green light flickering through his meridians, as if showcasing its strength and mystery.
"This Nuclear Release Kekkei Genkai, even with Ghidorah's help, is still fraught with difficulty to truly master," Haotian muttered to himself. Then he clenched his fist, and a flash of nuclear energy flickered across his knuckles before vanishing.
Haotian's eyes snapped open, a trace of cold sweat seeping from the corners.
He recalled the scene a year ago, when he first tried to develop this nuclear power.
Back then, young and reckless, he had only a half-baked understanding of this force and rashly attempted to use it.
The result was that the powerful nuclear energy rampaged through his body, nearly tearing him apart.
He vividly remembered that excruciating pain—like ten thousand ants gnawing at his heart, or countless sharp knives slicing through his flesh.
His skin turned bright red and even began to crack, as if he might explode at any moment.
If Ghidorah hadn't stepped in to suppress it in time, he would have been reduced to ashes.
"That feeling... really wasn't pleasant..." Haotian shook his head with a bitter smile, reaching out to touch his chest as if he could still feel the burning pain from back then.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm his somewhat rapid breathing, but a resolute light flickered in his eyes.
He understood that while the power of Nuclear Release was immense, it was also fraught with danger.
One misstep could lead to utter ruin.
This made him think of the techniques classified as Forbidden Techniques in the village.
Those Forbidden Techniques were all immensely powerful, but they also came with extremely high risks.
"Nuclear Release... Forbidden Technique..." Haotian murmured softly, tapping his fingers lightly on the edge of the bed, his expression thoughtful.
He had personally experienced the power of Nuclear Release—it was absolutely no less than any Forbidden Technique.
And its danger was equally not to be underestimated.
"Maybe Nuclear Release should also be classified as a Forbidden Technique..." Haotian raised his head, his gaze drifting out the window. "But since I've obtained this power, I can't let it go to waste." He stood up, walked to the window, pushed it open, and took a deep breath of the fresh morning air.
In the distance, the view of Konoha stretched out before him, peaceful and serene.
"I must master this power, protect the village, protect the people I love..." Haotian clenched his fist, then turned and walked to the bookshelf, his eyes landing on a thick book—Collected Works of the Third Hokage.
"Maybe I can find some answers in here..." Haotian reached out, took down the book, dusted it off, then sat down at the desk and flipped to the first page.
"Seriously, what kind of nonsense is this..."
Haotian found a quiet patch of forest, sat cross-legged under a sturdy tree, and opened Collected Works of the Third Hokage.
Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, casting dappled spots of light on the pages and illuminating Haotian's somewhat impatient face.
The pages rustled as he skimmed the text, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper.
"'The nature transformation of Chakra requires meticulous control, like a spring silkworm spinning silk—meticulous and unhurried...'" Haotian curled his lip in disdain. "Easy for him to say. Why doesn't the old man explain how to control it? Nothing but empty platitudes, completely useless!" He scratched his head in irritation, feeling his scalp itch.
The dense text on the page seemed to turn into tadpoles, wriggling around and making him dizzy.
He rubbed his eyes hard, trying to clear his head.
"'The essence of Fire Release lies in converting Chakra into flames and giving it form and direction...'" Haotian rolled his eyes. "Who doesn't know that? The key is how to convert it! This old man really has no idea how hard it is!"
He closed the book with a heavy sigh, feeling a wave of helplessness.
