On board a large transport plane, Skye and Saitama were sitting. In fact, it wasn't just the two of them; there were other mercenaries as well.
Although mercenaries had their own channels, how could those channels compare to Stark Industries's? A private jumbo jet like this could not only accommodate all of them but also carry the weapons and tools they needed.
"So this is what it feels like to fly," Saitama said, sitting on the plane with a dazed yet cute expression. His vacant eyes scanned the interior structure of the aircraft, looking like a complete novice. Of course, Saitama was indeed flying for the first time.
Looking at Saitama's demeanor, especially the strange glances the other mercenaries in the plane were giving them, Skye felt her face flush with embarrassment. She felt quite ashamed. Although Skye was also flying for the first time, she tried her best to control herself, to appear as if she had flown before.
"Saitama, don't act like that," Skye tugged at Saitama and whispered.
"Huh?" Saitama blinked in confusion.
"Stop looking around so much. It'll make people think you're a country bumpkin flying for the first time. It's so embarrassing," Skye had to explain.
"Oh. But this really is my first time flying. Skye, have you flown before?"
"Of, of course, I've flown before, and quite a few times too," Skye forced herself not to lose face.
"Wow, that's amazing."
"...Why do I feel like you're mocking me?"
"No, I'm not. I really think you're amazing, Skye, flying so many times. I've never done it before," Saitama shook his head.
Skye looked at Saitama helplessly. Saitama's expression was genuinely serious, meaning he truly thought Skye was amazing. However, the more Saitama acted like this, the more embarrassed Skye felt, especially with so many mercenaries watching them.
"So he's an idiot. Beautiful lady, I think you should consider finding a different partner. Your companion is clueless and looks like an idiot. With him around, it would be hard to even pull off a scam. Hahaha!"
"That's right, beautiful lady. Why don't you join our team? You're so pretty, we can let you handle some of the logistics."
"Beautiful lady, why are you working with this idiot?"
"Is it because he's good in bed? But I think maybe you haven't tasted the flavor of us Caucasians, so you think this yellow-skinned monkey is good. If you tasted us, you wouldn't even look at this yellow-skinned monkey again. Hahaha!"
These mercenaries were not good people to begin with. Killing and letting go were practically commonplace for them.
They had been relatively well-behaved at Stark Industries because it was Stark Industries's territory. But now, on this plane, besides the pilots, only they, the mercenaries, remained. There were no more high-ranking officials from Stark Industries to intimidate them, so they let loose and revealed their true nature.
Thus, these guys not only mocked Saitama but also harassed Skye. Some even made moves.
"Bastards, you bunch of bastards!" Skye's face turned red from the harassment. Especially when she saw someone reaching out to grope her, a look of fear uncontrollably appeared on her face.
Slap!
The groping hand was caught. Saitama grabbed it just as it was about to touch Skye.
Seeing this, Skye breathed a sigh of relief. She then remembered that Saitama behind her was incredibly powerful. " Saitama, beat this bastard to death for me."
At the same time, the guy whose hand Saitama had grabbed became enraged. Especially when he tugged twice but couldn't break free, and his wrist was in searing pain from Saitama's grip. He couldn't help but curse at Saitama, "Damn yellow-skinned monkey, let go!" Simultaneously, he clenched his other hand, his fist, the size of a monk's alms bowl, coming straight down towards Saitama's bald head.
The other mercenaries around them watched the spectacle with amusement, some even whistling. They thought the scene was hilarious, a source of entertainment during their journey. Some of the more lustful ones stared intently at Skye, preparing to get a share later.
Crack!
A crisp sound.
The guy who had punched towards Saitama's bald head suddenly disappeared. As the guy vanished, a hole appeared in the side of the plane. Those closest to the newly created hole were accidentally dragged out, screaming as they flew out of the aircraft. Keep in mind they weren't wearing parachutes, so their fate was predictable.
The mercenaries still remaining inside the plane couldn't help but show expressions of fear. Although they didn't quite understand what had happened, this was a situation they couldn't resist.
Skye's eyes widened, filled with surprise. She knew Saitama was strong, especially with speed that was unparalleled, but she hadn't anticipated this level of power before.
"Hmph, hmph. Now, I'll give you two options. One, you can take your parachutes and jump out now. The other option is to let Saitama throw you out one by one. Without parachutes," Skye put on a show of authority, like a fox borrowing the tiger's might.
Furthermore, Skye understood that these mercenaries were not good people. Even if they were killed, none of them would be innocent. But she was, after all, a rebellious but ordinary girl. She wasn't mentally prepared to kill. However, jumping out of the plane, well, she could accept jumping out with a parachute.
On one hand, she detested these mercenaries. On the other hand, if only she and Saitama were left on the plane, then no one would be able to compete with them. After all, it was One Hundred Million Dollars, a very tempting sum.
"What are you talking about, woman?" Some mercenaries didn't believe Saitama was that strong. Even though the previous scene was inexplicable, they still couldn't believe a yellow-skinned monkey could possess such power.
However, when Saitama quickly circled around and tied everyone up, and then lifted the ugliest person with one hand, preparing to throw them out of the plane, everyone understood the situation. Including the ugliest person about to be thrown out, they all made their choice. They put on their parachutes and jumped out of the plane. Even if the sea was below and jumping out might be a near-death experience, it was still a better chance of survival than being thrown out without a parachute.
Thus, soon, only Saitama and Skye remained in the cabin. Saitama even tore off a piece of metal from a less important part of the plane to cover the hole.
