Phil Coulson's Return

"Hey, hey, Skye, are you okay? Skye, hey, wake up, wake up!"

Seeing Skye pass out, Saitama quickly caught her. Fortunately, Skye had only fainted from the shock and quickly woke up. Otherwise, Saitama might have had to slap her twice to wake her up.

"Saitama, the money, the money, one hundred million dollars, one hundred million dollars!"

"Yes, yes, yes, I know, wasn't it agreed upon already?"

"Although it was agreed upon, but, but this is one hundred million dollars. I still feel a bit, a bit too, too exciting. It's so, so great." Skye was so excited she couldn't speak coherently.

Looking at Skye like this, Saitama scratched his head. Although he cared about money, he couldn't get as excited as Skye.

"Congratulations to you both." Obadiah walked towards Saitama and Skye with a smile, extending his right hand and seemingly sincerely congratulating them: "I didn't expect you two would actually, hmm, actually rescue Tony."

"Mr. Stan, we told you long ago that we have the strength to rescue Mr. Tony Stark. This is just a normal situation now." Skye waved her hand with a chuckle.

"Normal situation? Heh, normal situation! Hehehe!" Obadiah maintained his smile, but it subtly felt a little off, though no one could pinpoint why.

Obadiah tightly gripped Saitama's hand, with force, force, force. Yet, outwardly, he showed no emotion: "If I had known you two were this capable, things wouldn't have been delayed this long. But it's good that it's not too late."

Meanwhile, Tony, eating a hamburger, was sitting on the stairs, preparing to hold his personal press conference. Saitama and Skye weren't very interested.

Having gotten their money, Saitama and Skye didn't want to stay any longer, as there was nothing left for them to do.

But at this moment, Tony suddenly announced that he was shutting down Stark Industries' weapons division.

Although Saitama had punched the terrorists and their weapons away in one blow, making them disappear without a trace, so Tony hadn't seen the large quantities of Stark Industries weapons piled up in the terrorist base, Yinsen had told Tony that his Stark Industries weapons were the terrorists' favorites. Of course, most importantly, the missing piece on Tony's chest was indeed caused by his own Jericho Missile.

So, even without seeing the weapons piled up in the terrorist base, it didn't make much difference to Tony.

Therefore, upon his return, Tony's first action was to directly announce the closure of Stark Industries' weapons department.

"Oh! Damn it! Tony, what are you saying!" Obadiah Stan could no longer care about Saitama and Skye. He pushed through the reporters and rushed over, as Tony's announcement was too, too shocking for Stark Industries.

"Has that Stark gone mad? Shutting down the weapons division? Stark Industries started with weapons, and now they're shutting it down. Saitama, did something hit his head when you rescued him?" Skye turned and stared at Saitama in surprise.

Saitama thought for a moment and then shook his head: "No, from the beginning until they were rescued, Mr. One Hundred Million Dollars' head wasn't touched at all."

"Then maybe he's gone mad from being captured. Saitama, I think we should leave quickly. If that Obadiah causes trouble for us because Tony might have lost his mind, then it'll be real trouble." Skye pulled Saitama and turned to leave.

But just then, a man in a black suit with a smile and a slightly receding hairline blocked their path.

"Two, I have a few things I need to understand from you. Please cooperate." Phil Coulson smiled and stopped them, glancing at Skye, then focusing on Saitama.

Looking at Saitama's bald head, he suddenly remembered that he had seen this bald man before. He had even taken a photo and sent it to Nick Fury, saying that Saitama was an imitator of the Invisible Man and Daredevil.

However, Saitama and Skye had rescued Tony Stark from terrorists, which was beyond the capabilities of ordinary imitators.

"A big fish?" Phil Coulson had this thought.

But in reality, Phil Coulson hoped Saitama had just gotten lucky in rescuing Tony. That would prove he wasn't negligent.

He had met Saitama before, even taken his photo, but hadn't taken him seriously. If his boss, the "bald eagle" Nick Fury, found out about this, Phil Coulson felt he might really have to go to Antarctica to eat penguins. Thinking of the penguins' thick layer of fat, Phil Coulson felt a surge of nausea.

Skye, however, narrowed her eyes at Phil Coulson: "Sorry, if you're a reporter, your gaze should be on your interview subject, not on blocking us."

"I'm not a reporter. FBI. This is my badge. So I'd like to ask how you rescued Mr. Tony Stark. Please tell us the whole process." Phil Coulson took out a small notebook from his pocket and flashed it in front of Skye and Saitama.

"FBI? Alright, actually, after we saw Stark Industries' reward of one hundred million dollars, we've been wanting to get that one hundred million dollars. Even if we couldn't get the whole amount, we wanted to get something. So we applied to Stark Industries. Then, very luckily, we were patrolling in the area where Mr. Tony Stark went missing, and by pure coincidence, we encountered Mr. Tony Stark, and then we rescued him. That's how it happened." Skye was wary of this FBI agent, as one hundred million dollars was enough to make many people commit crimes, let alone Saitama's identity.

Skye didn't want Saitama's identity to be discovered by outsiders. Even if it couldn't be completely hidden, she wanted to buy as much time as possible.

ps: I waited for the short station yesterday, but unfortunately, it didn't happen, meaning this book won't have a recommendation next week. I'm quite disappointed. However, an author in the group said that books by struggling authors usually get their first trial recommendation in the second week after signing. This realization made me feel a bit sad.
