"I never thought Bullseye would actually be killed." Kingpin frowned, his round face tense, especially as he looked at Bullseye's corpse.

Bullseye's entire head had been blown apart. Kingpin had never imagined this could happen. He'd thought that after Bullseye put on a suit of Adamantium, not only would his strength increase tremendously, but his ability to protect himself would improve just as much.

Kingpin had thought Bullseye might be killed, but certainly not by having his head blown apart like this. He'd figured that if Bullseye ever died, it would be because his opponent attacked a part of his body the armor couldn't cover. That was the only way anyone could kill him.

But he hadn't expected Bullseye's corpse to look like this. The Adamantium had been smashed apart. Kingpin even wondered whether the person who killed Bullseye had brought some kind of powerful weapon, like a Jericho Missile or another devastating weapon.

But weapons like that usually caused massive destruction and made a lot of noise. Kingpin hadn't noticed anything like that. In other words, whoever killed Bullseye hadn't needed to make a big spectacle of it.

"Boss, what should we do next? Even Bullseye, after being modified, was killed. Our opponent is definitely powerful. What should we do now?" As Kingpin's trusted right-hand man, Wesley knew just how powerful Bullseye was. Someone that strong had been killed, in the most unbelievable way imaginable. It made Wesley feel a chill of fear.

"We're already working with Madame Gao, so let her handle this from here on out," Kingpin said gravely. Madame Gao might be his business partner for now, but Kingpin had no qualms about redirecting trouble toward her.
