Seeing Wood blocking his path, Kanjuro was clearly taken aback at first. He had no idea how Wood had managed to find him through the Ink Cloud, which obscured both sight and Kenbunshoku.

Wood wasn't someone Kanjuro knew much about, but he understood perfectly well that anyone who had earned the title of one of the Four Emperors was obviously not someone he could defeat.

Besides, given the situation, Kanjuro didn't dare get entangled with Wood for long. He swept the paintbrush Tsujime in his hand, and arrows formed from thick ink soon burst out of the cloud above.

As they took shape in the Ink Cloud, the arrows shot toward Wood at tremendous speed.

In such a confined space, Kanjuro was quite confident in this move. Wood could either dodge and give up the way out, or get riddled with holes by the Ink Rain Arrows.

At such close range, and with so many arrows flying at once, Kanjuro was sure that even the most powerful Swordsman couldn't fend them all off.
