Lili, who had been happily picking up the magic stones and materials scattered all over the ground, looked up in surprise and confusion when she heard what Wood had just said.
"I made an agreement with Bell earlier. He'll stay on the eighth floor to explore, while I want to go deeper."
Lili understood the reason. Wood was far stronger than other adventurers of the same level, so he wanted to explore deeper floors.
The deeper the floor, the higher the monsters' levels, and naturally, the more excelia and drops they yielded.
Judging by the strength Wood had shown earlier, Lili also believed he was capable of it.
"If Lord Wood wants to explore deeper floors, then Lili will—"
"No, Lili. You can stay on the eighth floor with Bell. I'm used to working alone.
"And I won't have the spare capacity to protect you on the deeper floors. That's why I suggested we split up."
