Hyōrinmaru's Flaw
"Tsuna, you're here? The captain isn't in the barracks, let me take you there."
As soon as he reached the entrance of the 10th Division, he saw Rangiku greeting Tsuna with a playful smile. With the wave of her arm, her two breasts gave the impression of an earthquake.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in training camp?" Tsuna curiously. He hadn't paid any attention to the Vice-Captain ' training camp after leaving it to Ikkaku, since he didn't know how to teach anyone Bankai and would only cause trouble if he went there.
"Isn't it because our bishop is coming back soon? Yumichika gave us a day off."
Rangiku's face betrayed her exhaustion when the training camp was mentioned. Since when did Seireitei become so competitive that even the Vice-Captain have to know how to use Bankai?
Rangiku even considered asking the captain to demote her from her position Seated Officer, but it was just a thought; she knew without a doubt that her captain wouldn't agree.
"Thank you for your help. Where is Hachi?" Tsuna asked.
"The captain's training is incredibly cold, so he can't be in the barracks. He's usually by the river." Rangiku led the way and then turned the topic back to the training camp. "Tsuna- kun, could you please remove me from the training camp roster? It's too tiring!"
Rangiku walked with a hunched back and reeked of the stench of the training camp. She had learned from Rukia and Hanatarō that Tsuna was qualified to decide on the training camp members, and that's why she was waiting at the door today.
Tsuna could tell at a glance that Rangiku wasn't giving up, but rather lacking motivation, so he decided to give her another push.
"If you learn Bankai from Ikkaku and the others, I'll ensure that my Gin Ichimaru won't get into trouble. What do you think?"
The relationship between Gin Ichimaru and Rangiku is also a pity. If either of them had expressed their feelings earlier, that tragedy wouldn't have happened.
Hearing Tsuna's words, Rangiku stopped complaining and slowly straightened her back. She didn't ask what Gin Ichimaru had gone to do. After Gin Ichimaru's defection, his name was still a taboo in the Seireitei. Tsuna could say it, but she couldn't.
Soon after bringing Tsuna to Toshiro's location, Rangiku left. She felt incredibly motivated to learn Bankai as soon as possible. With Sawada Tsunayoshi's strength, he should be able to bring back that idiot Gin Ichimaru, right?
The river in this training ground has been completely frozen by Toshiro, with remnants of ice crystals everywhere, radiating a chilling aura.
"Hey, Hachi, I'm here!" After Lu Bu left, Tsuna shouted loudly to the little guy wielding his blade on the icy river.
Okay, actually Tsuna isn't that tall...
However, instead of Toshiro Tsuna met with an ice dragon.
Toshiro did it on purpose; he wanted to teach this guy who kept calling himself "Hachi" a lesson for ruining his captain's authority.
Tsuna calmly summoned the C.A.I. System to defend. The ice dragon crashed into the protective shield, forming a patch of ice flowers. Just as Tsuna was about to retract the defense, the ice flowers suddenly exploded, and a burst of frost along with ice spikes shattered.
Fortunately, the C.A.I. System's protective shield was dense enough, otherwise Tsuna would have really been tricked by Toshiro.
"How is it? This is the result of my training over the past few days."
Toshiro walked towards Tsuna carrying Hyōrinmaru. He caught a glimpse of surprise on Tsuna's face and couldn't help but feel a little smug. His training over the past few days had not been in vain.
"Interesting. Delayed ice explosion; it can catch some people off guard," Tsuna said.
"Inspiration from Isshin's... senpai." Toshiro's Ice Blast was created by simulating Isshin's fireworks explosions, and he had suffered a lot these past few days to perfect it.
"But the power is a bit weak." Tsuna said, looking at the scattered ice crystals on the ground. If it were a real explosion of ice spiritual pressure, the C.A.I. System wouldn't have been able to defend against it so easily.
"I also think there's something wrong, but I feel it's because of Hyōrinmaru," Toshiro said, raising Hyōrinmaru in his hand.
This isn't about shifting blame; it's a genuine, inexplicable feeling that Toshiro couldn't unleash his full power, or rather, that the strongest Ice Style Zanpakuto isn't just about releasing ice dragons.
"By the way, did you come here today to give some pointers?" Toshiro wasn't just training in silence; he did learn some things about Tsuna when he returned to the barracks that evening.
"Originally, I wanted to fight you, the strongest one, but now I've changed my mind," Tsuna said.
"The strongest me?"
"It's after you've used your Bankai, after all the ice flowers have withered. I want to test your Shikai Hyōketsu so you can experience your strongest state more. With me here, you won't suffer any damage."
Tsuna had no plans for Toshiro. The only impression Toshiro left on him during the bloodbath was his zombie-like state after being tricked by Konan, and the Shikai Hyōketsu by the adult Hachi's sword.
Tsuna had no idea how much progress Toshiro had made during the bloody battle; the original work gave Toshiro a complete Bankai.
Toshiro's Daiguren Hyōrinmaru is not a normal Bankai; the three ice flowers following him are timers.
When all three ice flowers withered, a powerful Bankai spiritual pressure was poured into Toshiro's body, forcibly causing Toshiro body to grow into an adult form, which was his true Bankai form.
However, because this Bankai power is too strong, Toshiro has always sealed it away, as forcibly unleashing it could potentially harm himself.
However, with the Sun Attribute's recovery ability, Toshiro doesn't need to be afraid. Tsuna originally had this plan in mind, intending to let Toshiro get more used to the power after his complete Bankai.
Upon hearing Tsuna's words, Toshiro was completely stunned. No one would know if he had fully Bankai. It was during his first Bankai that he froze himself into an ice sculpture for most of the day, which is why he decided to seal away part of the Bankai's power.
It concerned Toshiro's own secret, Sawada Tsunayoshi's amazing abilities. He had personally experienced them, no wonder that old coin Urahara Kisuke trusted him so much.
After seeing and analyzing Toshiro's ice explosion, Tsuna changed his mind. Logically speaking, even the strongest Ice Style Zanpakuto shouldn't need to use Bankai in every battle. Let's try it out and see if there are any problems.
D. Spade's magic mirror, with its single lens looking at Hyōrinmaru, revealed a dense, icy-blue spiritual pressure gathered above Hyōrinmaru, appearing perfectly normal.
Yeah, right!
Tsuna sensed that the spiritual pressure on Hyōrinmaru seemed somewhat scattered. Normally, when examining the spiritual pressure on Zanpakuto, its shape is exactly the same as the Zanpakuto itself, but the spiritual pressure on Hyōrinmaru was very unstable, like the cold air it emitted.
Moreover, the icy blue color, like seawater, would ripple, sometimes gathering at the tip of the blade, and sometimes spreading to the hilt.
Tsuna felt like something was missing, and came to a conclusion that he himself couldn't believe: Hyōrinmaru was incomplete!
"When you Shikai, is the amount of spiritual pressure you output inconsistent with each attack, or is it difficult to maintain a stable level?" Tsuna asked, glancing at Toshiro.
How did you know?
Fighting with Shikai is not an easy task for Toshiro, so he developed different techniques based on the amount of spiritual pressure he can output in different states.
This is also why Toshiro often felt that Hyōrinmaru didn't deserve the title of the number one Ice Style Zanpakuto; he couldn't do what Ryūjin Jakka did, changing the environment with a single swing.
Therefore, when facing powerful enemies, Toshiro prefers to use Bankai in battle. However, because his Bankai has a time limit, he has to try some aggressive fighting methods.
That move, where he recklessly Ryūsō no Kogetsu the enemy, was developed in this way. Toshiro even abandoned the solid ice that cleared the way, using the blade as the point to forcefully attack the opponent.
"I suspect your sword isn't complete, it's like it's missing a part, the spiritual pressure inside is only half full, it's all sloshing around," Tsuna said.
The phrase "half-baked" aptly describes the spiritual pressure contained within Hyōrinmaru.
"Has it been like this ever since you got this knife? Has anything strange happened?" Tsuna asked curiously.
"No, ever since I started training with Asauchi, Hyōrinmaru has always been with me..." At this point, Toshiro's expression changed. A possibility came to mind, and sadness gradually welled up in his heart.
"It seems something happened." Tsuna immediately guessed the reason for Toshiro's change of expression. "Would you like to tell me? It's fine if you don't."
This was ultimately Toshiro's personal matter. Even without discovering the problem with Hyōrinmaru, Toshiro had still mastered the complete Bankai.
"No, I'm not entirely sure either. I need to check the past records in Central 46," Toshiro said.
The Central 46 has now become synonymous with a database. All the records left behind by the organization in the past are being organized, so it's not so easy for Toshiro to look up the information.
But it's better than before. Back when Central 46 was still an organization, forget about investigating their past incidents; even raising your voice was considered your fault.
"Alright, are you training today? I can fight you," Tsuna said. He possesses the power of seven elements, and any captain would definitely gain something from fighting him.
"No, I want to investigate what happened back then."
Toshiro was in a very low mood; he had no intention of engaging in the battle. The figure he had long forgotten reappeared in his mind.
It's really a good thing that the Central 46 is gone. Toshiro needs to find out exactly why they attacked him and his best friend back then.
Even best friends take a Momo to this.
That person's death left Toshiro depressed for a long time. Fortunately, he later joined the 10th Division and met the unreliable but cheerful Vice-Captain. From then on, Toshiro gradually emerged from the shadow of his friend's death.
Today's conversation with Tsuna reminded Toshiro of him again. "I'm sorry, and I miss you so much, Sojiro Kusaka..."
(PS: By now, I believe Bleach fans should know what the plot is about. This book covers all four Bleach movies.)
I will rearrange the order of these four theatrical versions, or extract parts of them and insert them into the main text, using some of their settings to make up for the regrets of the plot and characters.
It won't be a complete copy of the theatrical version. (That's all.)
