Bubbles
"His body has fish-like features; without a doubt, this comes from that fairy tale about a mermaid who transforms into a human and seeks love—Foam!"
"It is said that a bubble only meets the condition of metamorphosis after receiving true love from its partner; before that, it will remain dormant in human society."
"Nini, what you saw wasn't Veiled Dragon at all, but Fairy Tale Dragon with the same characteristics as Veiled Dragon dragon, Bubble!"
Unbeknownst to him, Noelle's words had deeply hurt a man who was prepared to sacrifice everything for love, and the beautiful time of the past week or so had shattered like a bubble.
"No wonder I always smelled that slut's scent, she really is a womanizer!" Nini scoffed, unaware that in order to prove her previous point, she had just stabbed Ginjo in the back again.
Tsuna noticed Ginjo's trembling hand clutching his chest. He hoped this incident wouldn't give Ginjo gynophobia, and that he wouldn't end up with a lifetime of courage only to be reclusive for the rest of his life.
Noticing the somewhat pitying look in Tsuna's eyes, Ginjo forced himself to remain calm, coughed, and said, "Would you believe me if I said I'm fine?"
"Of course I believe you, how can I not?" When faced with someone who is heartbroken, you can only go along with what they say.
Tsuna's affirmation rekindled Ginjo's fighting spirit. Shouldering the cross-shaped Hanging, he asked Noelle, "Shinbashi, I don't care about fairy tales or Fairy Tale Dragon. Now, I'm going to cut it down, is that alright?"
The question was laced with certainty, and the anger was practically bursting from Ginjo's teeth. Only by personally slaying the dragon that had deceived his feelings could he vent his fury.
I'm sorry, Yuko-chan...
"It's called 'bubble' not only because it's related to fairy tales, but also because when a bubble appears, the whole city is engulfed in a dreamlike illusion, sinking and dying within it!" Noelle said solemnly.
As Noelle explained, bubbles radiating a rainbow of light emerged from the scales of the Fairy Tale Dragon, Bubble. Then, Bubble flapped its wings, and propelled by spiritual pressure, countless bubbles scattered throughout Karakura Town.
"Don't touch these bubbles!"
Noelle and Nini played their flutes together, and the magical vibrations pushed all the flying bubbles further away.
Noelle and his group were prepared, but the "bubble" attack targeted more than just them; the bubbles scattered throughout the entire Karakura Town.
"Mom, look! It's bubbles! They're so pretty!" On the street, a little girl excitedly held her Mom's hand and gently touched the bubbles floating in the air with her fingers.
However, as soon as the little girl's hand touched the foam, she lost consciousness and collapsed. The little girl's Mom tried to grab her daughter's hand, but was blocked by a layer of foam.
The bubbles the little girl touched had turned into a giant bubble that enveloped her. The little girl knew nothing, and a happy smile graced her face as she drifted into unconsciousness.
The same scene played out in every corner of Karakura Town. Adults and children alike were drawn to the dazzling bubbles, and their instinctive touches only resulted in being encased in foam.
Even hiding inside a building is no match for these bubbles, which can move freely through the air and find their target as long as the ventilation ducts are intact.
These bubbles appear fragile, but they are actually incredibly strong. Ordinary people have no way to destroy them. Even bullets fired at them will bounce off their slippery surface. Humans who cannot use spiritual pressure attacks cannot eliminate the bubbles.
"Why make it so complicated? Just eliminate them all!" Ginjo said arrogantly as he watched Nini and Noelle blow away the bubbles.
These two girls aren't particularly strong; it's already quite an achievement that they were able to defend themselves in time. Asking them to eliminate the bubbles is asking too much of them.
But Ginjo was different. He was Captain-level fighter, and burning with rage, he only wanted to tear apart everything in his way and deliver a fatal blow to that dragon.
"No!"
Before Nini could even utter a word of protest, the bugle call of Ginjo's attack rang out, "Getsuga Tensho!"
A blue crescent moon rippled across the Hanging as Ginjo swung his sword with all his might, determined to sweep away all obstacles in his path. He followed the Getsuga Tensho and struck with the first blow!
The next moment, Ginjo understood why Nini had stopped him.
Getsuga Tensho didn't travel far before it touched the flying bubbles. Just as Ginjo had expected, the bubbles burst instantly under the powerful impact of Getsuga Tensho.
But the bursting of the bubble is not the end of the obstacle; rather, it is the beginning of hindering Ginjo's progress.
A series of explosions rang out, and Nini and Noelle instinctively covered their faces with their hands; they were not good at defense.
Fortunately, Tsuna and Tatsuki reacted quickly. Tsuna stood in front of them, while Tatsuki grabbed one of them with each hand and used Flash Cry pull Nini and Tatsuki far away.
He casually brushed aside the aftershocks of the explosion, revealing Ginjo's somewhat disheveled appearance. At the Bankai moment, Ginjo activated his Bankai, and crisscrossing wounds appeared on his face, while his body also showed many Hollow features.
"Damn it, that was really cunning!" Ginjo said, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. He almost really did commit suicide for love.
"That's what makes 'Foam' so troublesome. The bursting of Foam causes a violent explosion. Even before Foam makes a move, the power of Foam alone is enough to eliminate a large number of challengers," Nini explained quickly.
"According to the historical records of Reverse London, the last time a bubble appeared, it took the sacrifice of an entire army to destroy it," Noelle added, providing historical context.
"Just blow these bubbles away, right?"
Ginjo refused to believe it. He wielded his greatsword and slashed rapidly, the sword pressure formed by spiritual pressure quickly dispersing the surrounding bubbles.
"Hey, this isn't easy!"
No sooner had Ginjo finished speaking than more bubbles floated over. He gritted his teeth and swung his sword again to suppress them. This was going to be difficult; he feared he would be exhausted before he even got close to the "bubbles."
"Damn it, if only Kensei were here, his sword is wind-based!" Ginjo thought of that white-haired, grass-covered guy; the name of Muguruma sometimes does have some effect.
"Come on, Kensei is focusing all his energy on the sharpness and cutting power of the Tondemo. If he comes over, he'll only cause a bigger explosion than you."
Tsuna rejected Ginjo's suggestion outright. Unlike Ginjo, he had trained with Kensei the most and knew very well what Kensei was good at.
"What should we do then? It'll be difficult to make a move if we don't get close." Looking at the floating bubbles around him, Ginjo felt restricted.
"You don't even need to take the initiative; your lover has already come to you."
Upon hearing Tsuna's words, Ginjo was taken aback, and then immediately looked in the direction of "bubbles".
It turns out that Ginjo's use of Getsuga Tensho to detonate the bubbles attracted the attention of "Foam." With Tsuna's reminder, Ginjo and "Foam's" eyes met at that moment.
A single glance could last a lifetime. In "Bubble's" eyes, Ginjo saw only the infatuation of love. A chill ran down his spine, and Ginjo clutched his neck, retching repeatedly. If he never forgot that look, he feared he would be single for the rest of his life.
The disgust in Ginjo's eyes was fully observed by "Bubble," and her mood was slightly depressed for a moment, but driven by the sincere love in her heart, she immediately cheered up again.
They promised to love each other for a lifetime. It doesn't matter if Ginjo doesn't acknowledge her; just take her back, lock her up, and Ginjo will eventually accept his fate.
With this thought in mind, "Bubble" flapped her wings. This time, it wasn't to scatter bubbles; she wanted to break the spell of love and stay with the one she loved forever!
Glug!
When Ginjo saw "Foam" move, for some reason, he no longer wanted to get close to it. In the somewhat sickly eyes of "Foam," he had the thought of running away for the first time.
"What? Your lover has come to pick you up? Aren't you going to greet her?" Tsuna chuckled.
"Damn it, Tsuna, I don't want to date a non-human!"
Ginjo was extremely frustrated. He clearly wanted to escape but had no way out. As the person who could make Ginjo happy the most, "Bubble" saw through Ginjo's desire to escape at a glance. She had already manipulated the bubbles to surround Ginjo from all sides.
Ginjo is now nothing more than a fish in a bubble!
"Honey, I'm here to pick you up!"
"Bubble's" voice was ethereal and beautiful, and what was most striking was that she made no attempt to conceal herself. If things continued like this, it wouldn't be long before the love story of Bubble in Ginjo would resound throughout the entire human society.
"Don't talk nonsense, I don't know you!" Ginjo roared, grabbing the crucifix Hanging and charging forward, not forgetting to call for backup, "Tsuna, come at us together!"
Ginjo didn't receive a single response because Tsuna was busy making phone calls. "Foam" caught him completely off guard. As more and more people fell into a deep sleep because of the foam, the supernatural event would no longer be a secret in Karakura Town.
Tsuna didn't respond to Ginjo's reinforcements because he himself was calling for reinforcements. Apart from the First Division, all members of the Gotei 13 were mobilized. The Senkaimon was set up at Urahara Shop. After receiving memory erasers, everyone went to the streets under the responsibility of their respective divisions to erase the memories of humans.
Inside Urahara Shop, Urahara Kisuke had already awakened his Bankai. He never dreamed that one day he would awaken his Bankai while making a small gadget like a memory eraser.
Unfortunately, there wasn't enough stock of these rarely used props, so Urahara Kisuke make them on the spot.
While Ginjo carefully evades the bubbles' various forms of execution and struggles with them, a race between extraordinary events and human memory has quietly begun.
Afterwards, no one in Karakura Town remembered what had happened that night. All they knew was that they had a wonderful time, feeling light and dreamlike. Later, people called this night, which vanished as easily as a bubble, the Night of the Bubble.
