Chapter Summaries

Aizen used Kyoka Suigetsu to trap Yhwach in a world beyond the Almighty’s reach, explaining his curiosity about other worlds and how Tsuna’s manga had inspired him. As a ship approached, unfamiliar figures began attacking Yhwach, leaving the fight poised to escalate.

• Yhwach broke free of Kurohitsugi, dispelled Aizen’s palace, and prepared to kill Aizen so he could leave Soul King Palace.
• Aizen transported Yhwach into an ocean world with Kyoka Suigetsu, where the Almighty could not see through the illusion.
• Aizen recalled how Tsuna’s stories and manga about other worlds had renewed his curiosity and motivated him to cooperate with the plan against Yhwach.
• A ship bearing a straw-hat skull sailed toward Yhwach, and a black arm caught and hurled back his Spirit Bow and Arrows.

Aizen sent Yhwach through illusions of other worlds, where Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji attacked him before Naruto and Sasuke faced him together. Naruto and Sasuke’s combined techniques broke through Yhwach’s layered defenses and engulfed him in Amaterasu, but The Almighty began adapting to the flames.

As she prepared to finish him, fine threads emerged from Jerome and healed his wounds while strengthening his life force, leaving Halibel facing a possibly stronger opponent.

• Halibel activated Resurrección and attacked Jerome, who completed his Vollständig and blocked her Cero with Roar.
• Halibel discovered Jerome's brief pauses between sonic attacks and pressured him with War Tears, but Jerome formed an Echo Barrier.
• Halibel's Waterfall Severance struck the barrier, but Jerome's enhanced body stopped the attack and he countered with powerful punches and Roar.
• Halibel injured Jerome's mouth with a close-range Cero, obscured his vision with scalding water, and used his sounds to locate him.

• Jerome’s body evolved under Pernida’s power, allowing every part of him to unleash the sound waves of The Roar.

• Ulquiorra revealed his Second Release, pierced Bazz-B’s chest, and discovered that Bazz-B’s body had been mechanized and had no organs there.
• Ulquiorra hid his true speed, struck Bazz-B with the Lance of Lightning, and pinned him down before preparing a Black Cero aimed at his head.

Ulquiorra transformed into Black-Winged Demon Storm and fought Bazz-B, whose analysis and defenses let him withstand Ulquiorra’s attacks. Ulquiorra unveiled a second stage and destroyed Bazz-B with Black-Winged Thunderstorm Roar, then wondered if eliminating an enemy had made him feel joy.

• Ulquiorra transformed into Black-Winged Demon Storm and attacked Bazz-B with wind and high-speed Sonido.
• Bazz-B analyzed Ulquiorra’s black feathers as Sonido coordinates and transformed into a war castle to counter his storms.

• Berenice objected to Nel’s claim to rule Hueco Mundo and declared himself its king, but Nel argued that the Quincies had no right to the title.
• Nel evaded Berenice’s attacks and answered his challenge by listing her reforms, keeping his Saint Letter from allowing another objection.
• Berenice tried to exploit Nel’s lost weapon, but she entered Antelope Knight’s Light Spear form and stomped him beneath her hoof.

Masaki and Isshin fought Quilge after Masaki freed Isshin from his prison, but Quilge evolved by activating Pernida’s nerves and gained enough speed to overpower Masaki. With Isshin trapped again and Quilge blocking Masaki’s attempts to reach him, Masaki called on Isshin to help her use a last resort.

• Masaki broke Quilge’s prison with Blut Vene, and Isshin activated Bankai, but Quilge endured their attacks with Blut Vene and Sklaverei.
• Quilge trapped Isshin in a spherical prison and wounded Masaki after activating the evolution nerves Pernida had buried in his body.
• Quilge explained that his evolution let him shift strength from defense and recovery into speed and sword power, then used that advantage to suppress Masaki.
• Isshin’s Getsuga Tensho: Flying Phoenix failed to break Quilge’s prison, and Quilge blocked Masaki’s arrows while insisting she could not rescue Isshin.

• Isshin approved Masa’s plan, and she used Help to gain his abilities while Setsuna Enka’s crystals strengthened her crossbows.
• Masa combined Flash Step and Hirenkyaku to outpace Quilge, then blanketed the area with fireworks to expose and pin him down.
• Quilge gathered Reishi and struck at Masa’s phoenix-shaped attack, but its explosion left him badly burned and vulnerable.
• Masa revealed that she had freed Isshin, then returned her power and Isshin’s abilities to him.
• Isshin wielded an evolved Setsuna Enka and fired a Blut-enhanced Getsuga Tensho at Quilge, who could neither defend himself nor escape.

Cang Du activated his Vollständig and used Pernida’s power to evolve into a steel serpent, swallowing Grimmjow. Grimmjow fused with the Hogyoku to break free, while Pernida’s nerves took control of Cang Du’s body and made it attack instinctively.

• After Yhwach’s Auswählen activated Cang Du’s Vollständig, Cang Du discovered that Grimmjow’s Pantera Claw could cut his steel body.

• Cang Du briefly controlled his head to beg Grimmjow to kill him, then lost consciousness as Pernida's nerves took over his body completely.
• Grimmjow recognized that the attacking steel giant snake had no awareness and trapped it in a net of Pantera Claws, destroying Cang Du's body and the nerves within it.

• Driscoll Berci enlarged his body with Pernida’s evolving nerves, but Sajin Komamura and Kaname Tōsen knocked him down and tried to restrain him.
• Driscoll tore through Komamura’s black ropes with Spirit Bow and Arrows, forcing the two Soul Reapers to plan a coordinated attack.

Gin Ichimaru fought Lille Barro across Hueco Mundo, using decoys and deception to exploit Lille Barro’s hesitation before launching a final attack. Lille Barro survived by opening his left eye and using All-Piercing to expel Shinsō’s poison, leaving Gin Ichimaru apparently defeated.

• Gin Ichimaru used buried cover and a portable Reigai decoy to evade Lille Barro’s shots and set up an ambush.
• Gin Ichimaru charged Lille Barro, confirmed his hesitation could affect his firing, and drew blood while avoiding fatal hits.

As Lille Barro prepared to ascend into Vollständig and finish Gin Ichimaru, Kirinjī Tenshirō, Shutara Senjumaru, and Yachiru Unohana arrived through a Garganta.

• Shukuro Tsukishima altered the past of Lille Barro's bullets to rescue the apparently dead Gin Ichimaru, who then joined Ginjo in attacking Lille Barro.
• Lille Barro reattached his severed arm, shot Ginjo, and tried to target Tsukishima, but Gin Ichimaru cut apart his gun and Tsukishima pulled Ginjo to safety.
