Pantera's Destruction
The moment several of his Quincy companions were instantly killed by Gin Ichimaru, Cang Du had the idea of retreating. He wasn't confident he could handle this group of people on his own. Cang Du wanted to fight and retreat at the same time, but he ended up getting entangled by Grimmjow.
"Madman!"
Cang Du spat in disgust, repeatedly clashing his claws against Grimmjow's Resurrección. Grimmjow's attacks were fierce, which was why he wanted to retreat temporarily.
Without using his Vollständig, Cang Du might not be able to defeat Grimmjow's Resurrección form. But if he used up his Vollständig, at this moment when several Quincy had been eliminated, the towering Quincy Cross would only attract the attention of others.
Cang Du doesn't believe he has the ability of Dorisuk to survive against a group of powerful people.
As a result, not long after Cang Du fled, Yhwach the Auswählen his power, forcibly activating his Vollständig. The good news was that he wasn't the only one to activate his Vollständig; all his other deceased companions were resurrected, so he wouldn't have to face an attack from Nel and the others.
Cang Du, whose entire body had turned grayish-black, was still quite confident in taking down a Gillian. With a clang, he neither dodged nor evaded, taking Grimmjow's claw directly to his face.
"What is that?" Grimmjow was slightly startled, not having had time to react. He had just managed to slash Cang Du's face.
"My Vollständig power is nothing fancy, it's very simple: my entire body becomes steel." Cang Du brandished his claws. "Come and see, can you tear my steel-like body apart, or will I tear you to shreds first!"
The sneer on Cang Du's face showed that he did not believe Grimmjow could defeat him at all, and Grimmjow more interested.
"Then let's give it a try."
Grimmjow stuck out his tongue and licked his claws. A deep blue light shone from the claws, Sonido an instant, he appeared behind Cang Du and slashed at Cang Du's back with his claws.
Intense sparks flew across Cang Du's back, his eyes filled with undisguised shock. How could he possibly feel pain in his back?
"Why aren't you moving? Or are you scared by my Pantera Claw!"
Grimmjow relentlessly attacked Cang Du, Cang Du was unable to recover in time and was forced to defend. He couldn't understand how a Hollow could possibly harm him after he had activated his Vollständig.
"Since a year ago, every opponent I've fought has had a defense no weaker than yours. Don't underestimate the Hollow's Steel Skin, Quincy!"
For Grimmjow, cutting through steel with his claws was no difficult task. Every Hollow qualified to train with him possessed the ability of Steel Skin. To win the training, the first thing Grimmjow had to deal with was the Steel Skin on these Hollows.
This restrained Pantera Claw was honed through countless combat training sessions. It wasn't just used to deal with Steel Skin like Steelhide; Grimmjow had dealt with Bleach quite a bit, and this Bakudō #81: Dankū could even pierce through Bleach's Dan Kong.
Cang Du was somewhat embarrassed. His abilities seemed to be countered by Grimmjow. After exchanging two more blows with Grimmjow, the claw blades on his hands seemed to have become dull, while Grimmjow's Pantera Claw were still gleaming with a cold light.
"You dare not attack? Then..."
"Who says I dare not!"
Cang Du slightly bent down, placed his fists in front of his chest, and continued to launch an attack on Grimmjow with a large amount of spiritual pressure: Snake Claw!
A giant serpent formed from spiritual pressure lunged at Grimmjow. Just as Grimmjow was about to unleash his Pantera Claw to counter Cang Du's Snake Claw, he suddenly felt uneasy. His leopard instincts told him that danger lay ahead.
Just as Grimmjow was about to retreat, a large, gray-black serpent darted out from the deep blue spiritual pressure serpent and swallowed Grimmjow whole.
The spiritual pressure of the Snake Claw dissipated, and it seemed that only this giant steel serpent remained in the world, even Cang Du himself had disappeared.
In fact, this giant steel serpent was Cang Du himself. While using his Snake Claw to attract Grimmjow's attention, he activated Pernida's evolutionary power.
Cang Du is different from others. He never hesitates to use unfamiliar powers. In his view, surviving in battle is more important than appearing to go crazy.
Under the cover of the Snake Claw, Pernida's nerves quickly pierced through the steel and drilled into Cang Du's steel-like body. The nerves that penetrated deep into the body began to evolve and transform Cang Du from the root.
Its limbs naturally began to twist in an unnatural way, and its body swelled up with several Snake Claw. Influenced by the spiritual pressure aura, the direction of its neural evolution also began to resemble that of a giant spiritual pressure serpent.
It can be said that Cang Du, apart from his brain, is still a human brain. His whole body has changed, just like Bazz-B. He has become a giant steel serpent!
Grimmjow did not react to the changes in Cang Du. Only after Cang Du swallowed Grimmjow did he realize that Cang Du had installed many blades of various angles in its belly to mimic the normal digestive process of a stomach. It even had to completely imitate the digestive ability of a giant snake.
Inside the giant steel serpent's belly, sparks flew as Cang Du diligently digested Grimmjow's Steel Skin, hoping to make Grimmjow his meal.
Grimmjow, of course, fought back fiercely inside. Various Gran Rey Cero and the Pantera Claw could not break through the steel serpent that Cang Du had transformed into. Under the effect of the power of evolution, the quality of Cang Du's steel directly increased by several levels.
Blood was already splattering out; the giant serpent's digestive blades had cornered Grimmjow, and if he didn't change course, he would truly die.
A deep blue light shone from his lower back, and the black in the center of this light was his disguise, the Hogyoku, Hogyoku together!
Grimmjow's Steel Skin was completely removed, replaced by fur that better suited his original animal form. He wore white leather pants with black spots on his lower body, and his upper body was bare. Sharp black power emanated from his chest and spread to his limbs, and a long blue-black whip lashed out from his lower back.
Grimmjow had transformed into a head of white hair with blue highlights at the ends, a dark blue leopard-like crown on his forehead, and a few sharp black bangs like claws hanging down between his eyebrows. His eyes gleamed with a fierce, deep blue light.
Just standing there, Grimmjow exuded a menacing aura that sent chills down your spine.
Black claws gripped the weapon that had slashed him, a flash of blue light appeared on Grimmjow's body, and with a bang, a huge hole exploded in the belly of the giant steel serpent, revealing Grimmjow in his new form before Cang Du.
"The Hogyoku merges, the Pantera is destroyed!"
Cang Du's giant serpent eyes revealed a constantly shifting expression. His worst fears had come true: the Hollows of Las Noches were not limited to the antelope; even the little leopard had obtained the power of the Hogyoku.
Having witnessed the fusion power of the Nel Hogyoku Cang Du's first thought was to escape. But as soon as this thought arose, the steel serpent's eyes turned bloodshot, and his consciousness gradually lost control of his body.
This is Pernida's power influencing Cang Du's behavior through his nerves. After being completely invaded by Pernida's nerves, the program Pernida set to kill the enemy in front of him became the Quincy's primary goal after his evolution.
Cang Du only had no chance to escape, but he also had no chance to control his body to fight Grimmjow. His consciousness became that of a spectator, only able to watch as his body launched an attack on Grimmjow under the control of his nerves and instincts.
The giant steel serpent lunged at Grimmjow. Grimmjow frowned slightly and kicked out a crescent-shaped arc of blue light. The giant steel serpent didn't flinch at all, letting the crescent leave wounds on its body as it charged relentlessly toward Grimmjow.
The crescent-shaped attack was something Grimmjow learned from Ichigo. For some reason, the two got along exceptionally well, and Ichigo was the Ichigo sparred with Grimmjow the most in the World of the Living.
As the giant steel serpent opened its massive jaws, Grimmjow used both his hands and feet to hold back its upper and lower jaws, preventing the Grimmjow from swallowing him whole, while his face was full of confusion.
What's going on? It's already been proven that swallowing him has no effect, so why is this Quincy still using the old method?
Grimmjow's question had barely been posed when he saw steel spears hurtling towards him from the depths of the giant serpent's maw.
Did he think that with his hands and feet restrained, he would have no way to fight back? Grimmjow found the behavior of the giant steel serpent somewhat amusing.
On Grimmjow's chest, a blue line split open amidst the black markings. The blue energy was exactly the same as the spiritual pressure generated by the Hogyoku that caused Grimmjow's transformation.
Gran Rey Cero!
Like an iron man, Grimmjow unleashed a powerful ray of energy from his chest, withstanding Cang Du's attack, and channeled his immense spiritual pressure into the belly of the giant steel serpent.
Logically speaking, this giant snake, made entirely of steel, should be completely insensitive to pain. However, this was not Cang Du could control. The nerves attached to his body truly treated this giant steel snake as a living being.
Under the control of its nerve reflexes, the giant steel serpent truly shook off Grimmjow, its body twisting and turning incessantly, struggling in the air and on the ground, displaying an extremely painful appearance.
Grimmjow was stunned. Having passed through the belly of the giant steel serpent, he knew what the serpent's body was like. Was its current contorted and agonizing appearance a deliberate act by the Quincy to lower his guard?
Grimmjow didn't know, and he dared not move, letting the giant steel serpent writhe and thrash about between heaven and earth.
This is the limitation of evolution. These nerves are only a part of Pernida's body, not Pernida herself. Relying solely on these nerves, one can only produce some instinctive reactions.
Pernida's power also isolated the Quincy's own consciousness, resulting in a scene where a steel creation was twisted like a real living being.
