Background

A-Sixteen was regarded by Su Clan's A-Seven as an extraordinarily gifted junior and was expected to advance from the Third Rank Houtian Realm with ease. Her first tribulation instead went catastrophically wrong, leaving her critically injured. She later fled the Sky River Su Clan through a secret escape method A-Seven had left behind, apparently because she believed she was dying from her injuries. 4 115 116 121

She reached Jiangnan and was discovered by Song Shuhang while hiding in an apartment. Although badly injured, she remained a Third Rank cultivator capable of planning an escape from the Xiannong Sect pursuer. Song sheltered her, shared his food and cultivation experiences, and became involved in the attacks directed at her. 120 121

The Moon Knife Sect repeatedly tried to assassinate or capture her in order to manipulate the conflict between the Sky River Su Clan and Xiannong Sect. A-Sixteen confronted a captured Moon Knife Sect disciple, fought his Blood God Saber, and was nearly overwhelmed when her existing injuries worsened.
