Nine Nether is a chaotic, evil, and filthy realm whose power alters both its native inhabitants and foreign intruders. Its Evil Energy corrodes, tempts, and can assimilate unprotected creatures into Nine Nether beings. 650 1606

Cosmology

Relation to the Demon Sea

The Demon Sea World, also called the Demon Country, predates Nine Nether. In the earliest era, it was a rulerless world corresponding to the Mundane World and governed directly by the Heavenly Dao. 2563

From the second Heavenly Dao era onward, the Demon Sea transformed into Nine Nether and acquired the special existence known as the Nine Nether Ruler. The Heavenly Dao continued to govern both worlds, while a remnant with ruling authority existed within Nine Nether. 2563

The Three-Eyed Senior's account further identifies the first Nine Nether Ruler as an existence created by the Three-Eyed Heavenly Dao and recognized by the Heavenly Dao's rules, establishing a system inherited by later eras. 3018

Relation to the Heavenly Dao

A Nine Nether Ruler is the counterpart of a Heavenly Dao. It retains the corresponding Heavenly Dao's memories and emotions from before that Heavenly Dao's ascension, though Nine Nether's influence often produces a markedly different personality. 1537
