As a first-year student at Chihaya Academy, Hitomi was devoted to mathematics, physics, science, and her friendship with Chihaya Airi. She had little interest or experience in romance until meeting second-year student Ito Kiyoharu; after dreaming of him, she recognized that she had fallen in love at first sight. 14
