"Heavenly Flame?"
When the Ice Queen took out the ice-crystal gourd in front of Reilo and the Ancient One, both murmured the words at the same time.
But while the Ancient One was surprised and delighted, Reilo sank into memory.
He unscrewed the lid. A wisp of incredibly pure, scorching heat surged out of the gourd, instantly triggering the alarm at this Central Civilization base. Fortunately, the three of them held such high status that, after a brief moment, they persuaded the Central Civilization to activate the higher level of protection specially installed for this situation and forcibly shut off the alarm.
Pale white flames danced through the air like Elves.
And this was only the lingering power of the Heavenly Flame inside the gourd.
Reilo beckoned, reaching toward the wisp of white light. As soon as his palm touched it, his entire hand began to burn without a sound. Even his Star Body True Body gradually reddened under the sustained heat. But then another force of high-temperature, high-pressure Law Power spread through him, forming a protective film over his skin and silently pushing the white flecks of light away.
Though both were forms of extreme heat, one was constant and eternal, while the other was a violent collapse. They belonged to entirely different systems and could not interact.
The Ice Queen and the Ancient One both sensed something unusual.
The Ancient One sighed. "What a pity. I thought Mielaoguai's Burning Heaven Holy Fire would be even more formidable in your hands."
"I'd say the Sun Power is far more powerful than the Burning Heaven Holy Fire. With Master Reilo here, the Burning Heaven Holy Fire would only be gilding the lily."
The Ice Queen spoke with an ingratiating air.
