For hundreds of years, Antonio had undoubtedly been one of the foremost human scholars.
But in Reilo's eyes, if the top creatures of Starveil Land were divided into four levels, Antonio was only at the third. He was merely a little stronger than some of the lesser demigods confined to the duchies.
The God of Light unquestionably stood at the first level.
Capricorn Duke and Pangula Ancient Giant God might have reached that level as well, or perhaps fallen a little short. Reilo couldn't say for sure.
The second level consisted of a handful of low-profile Upper Gods.
As far as Reilo knew, the God of Barbarians was one of them. The God of Forging in the Hengduan Mountains and the Goddess of the Four Seasons, near the Thorn Forest in the duchies, were also among them.
Beyond that, he couldn't be certain.
There was no need to mention the transcendent beings of the third and fourth levels.
If Reilo's Star Body True Body could return to Starveil Land, this clone would just barely reach the threshold of the fourth level. And if he fought in his true form outside the Star Curtain World, he would be able to face even some of the strongest Lower Gods head-on!
It seemed that although the scholars' path of growth had advanced considerably, they still had a long way to go before they could rule Starveil Land. The greatest scholars in particular were shackled by the limits of their knowledge and could make no further progress. That was why, despite their anger, the scholars had long been unable to speak out against the Holy See's oppression.
Unfortunately, in Reilo's view, the pioneering scholars of the older generation had likely already reached the limits of what they could achieve within the existing system of
