the Destroyers, after their brief shock, showed none of the retreat the scholars had expected. Instead, seemingly provoked by what had happened, the chieftains who had been fighting amid the gray Bean Soldiers left the battlefield one after another, gazing longingly toward the sky where the Shura Path was.
The scholars noticed this but had no idea what it meant, and instinctively grew wary.
Then another Destroyer appeared. The Destroyers let out faint sighs, seemingly disappointed, before retreating again.
"I am Gangya, chieftain of the Tieliao Clan!"
With broad shoulders and a sturdy frame, Gangya tore through the air toward the Shura Path the instant Bloodboil died.
In its eyes, the Shura Path's existence seemed to represent not death, but an opportunity for its own transformation and ascension.
