Several hours later.
Reilo could tell that the half-human, half-dragon Destroyer had come primarily to stall him, giving Rage time to enter a higher level of Potential Overdraft.
That meant the greatest unknown among the three was undoubtedly Rage.
But throughout these past few hours, Reilo had never again dared to use Mother Bean's overwhelming strength to utterly suppress and batter Rage as he had before.
There were two reasons.
The first was naturally the half-human, half-dragon Destroyer, who had entered the third level of Potential Overdraft.
Its strength was almost on par with Destruction in the First Order of Law Power's Opposing Force state, and it was tying up a great deal of Reilo's attention.
The second was Destruction.
It had entered the Second Order of the Law Power's Opposing Force state twice before. Once, it had tried to kill Reilo outright; the other time, it had tried to destroy the Eye of the Sun. Neither attempt had succeeded, but the sheer explosive power it unleashed in those brief moments had left Reilo shaken. He now kept his guard up against this Destroyer, which could erupt with astonishing combat strength at any moment.
In that state of explosive speed, without Mother Bean's protection, Reilo alone might have suffered grievous injuries—or even been killed in a single blow.
Fortunately, amid this long, stalemated battle, Reilo had a plan of his own.
The first part was to observe their abilities and devise appropriate countermeasures.
The second was to use Mother Bean to layer one Harmless Suggestion after another onto all three of them.
This little technique was a wondrous power Reilo had stumbled upon during his early studies. It had aided him many times on his path to becoming stronger, helping him defeat powerful foes.
Ordinary minor techniques tended to become
