Linley is a distant descendant of Rylin and Melina through their son Baruch. His lineage carries the bloodline of the Sovereign Azure Dragon and the Four Divine Beasts Family; his family uses the surname Leiding to preserve that connection. He is born as the son of Emperor Hogg of the Baruch Empire and displays exceptional talent from early childhood 123 124.

Wyatt takes an interest in Linley but refuses to give him overwhelming support while he is still young, believing that excessive backing would hinder his growth. At Wyatt's direction, Delincoewater becomes Linley's teacher, while Rylin is instructed to let Linley eventually make his own way to the Four Divine Beasts Family rather than sending him there directly for bloodline awakening 123 124.

After Kalan hires assassins and Ernest attempts to kill Linley, Purpleblood kills Ernest under Wyatt's protection. Linley subsequently confronts Kalan and Leonard, enters Dragonfication, and destroys them with seventh-rank wind magic 127 128.

Rescue of Diliya

When the Lane Family confines Diliya and seeks to marry her to Olivia, Linley pushes himself to the Saint Domain and infiltrates the Obrien imperial capital. He rescues Diliya, defeats Kenyon, withstands the response of the War God Sect's Saints, and defeats Olivia through Earth Pulse, Ten Thousand Layers and a soul attack 130 131 132.

Laxi later captures Linley with a God Domain, but the Lord of Death intervenes and kills Laxi. Linley leaves the Obrien Empire with Diliya and Beibei unharmed 133.

Marriage and Departure from the Yulan Plane

After becoming a Lower God, Linley reunites with Janny and accepts her confession. He marries Alice, Diliya, and Janny in the Baruch imperial palace, while Wyatt provides altered Divine Sparks so that all three can become gods 134.

Following a century of seclusion, Linley's Earth God Clone reaches Mid-God. He sends his Earth and Wind God Clones to Hell while leaving his Fire God Clone in the Yulan Plane with his wives 134.
